No one is fooled by this persuasion argument, BUT THEY CAN STILL PLAY IN RUPP IN THE SWEET SIXTEEN. It's a slow slide to basketball classification and the end of THE SWEET SIXTEEN.

Winning it all "in your class" just isn't the same for someone born, bled and raised in Kentucky like me. I couldn't care less about keeping up with anything in Ohio. Or the country. It's the tradition with me that counts. I realize that doesn't mean zilch to some people but it does to me.

Because since 1918, now Kentucky is one of two states, the other being Delaware, who do not have State Classed Tournaments in basketball. It's the possibility of David vs. Goliath.

This is making it Class basketball. Just hasn't been sold to schools as such. Just doesn't seem like a good idea for our established traditional Sweet Sixteen. I know "MY GENERATION GAP IS SHOWING". :idunno:

If they go ahead and do this, it will be the end of David vs. Goliath at Rupp. No more excitement for Cinderella. Before, it was A REALLY BIG DEAL for small schools to win their Region. Five guys or possibly girls who had played together and stayed together since 3rd or 4th grade and knew each other's every move and strength, playing in and possibly winning the SWEET SIXTEEN. I don't like where Kentucky is headed with these classes, 1A and now 2A. To win the All A and now 2A, is a really good thing. But to this Old Timer, it just isn't the SWEET SIXTEEN.

I'll go with my heart and the underdog on this one. Hope Mason Burden can step up with a big game and Senior Leadership. And Kelsch as head coach. Good Luck, guys.

What's with all the dislikes for anything mentioning St. Patrick improving? Been a tough year.

St.Patrick is like a team at the start of the season. Ben Swolsky and Paul Muelbauer first time playing all season with limited minutes because of injuries. Isaiah Garrison eligible first game. One regular season starter out for this game, Brevin Jones. NCC was a good challenge after getting back those players and being off for snow days. Team needs to gel and find what works to bring them success. St. Patrick has a good group of young men. GOOD LUCK SAINTS.

Why give me a dislike on post #7, I was not lying? He was ineligible to do anything then except enroll. He is now 100% eligible.

Correct, you never specifically mentioned the girls. Yet, you said "COACHES WILL REMEMBER THE SCORES" and will proceed to return the favor. Well, who is the recipient of retribution IF that will be possible? The young people take the hit. Why involve the girls? Go Mano e Mano? You, several times have mentioned how "the transfer" improved the team. How about just calling them the Lady Camels? I'm a very small school fan, so we have had our share of those ugly losses. Just so happens we played another small school last night, I don't remember the score but I know we shot a lot of 3s and we don't have depth. We use 8th grade and freshmen to fill our Varsity bench, so there's only about 5 subs. You can limit the number of shots taken, but you can't tell them to miss. Especially if that young person has never scored a Varsity basket. One last comment then no more. Everyone always runs to the stats page for KHSAA leaders. I think that also leads to some of these lopsided scores. "Beef up your numbers in this game tonight". I wish steals and assists were on the stats page because SOMEONE has to get the ball to the shooter. But alas I realize that's a gray area. GOOD LUCK TO THE LADY CAMELS, PRAY FOR NO INJURIES. So many times I have written a post, only to read thru it and realize I should never have written it and hit cancel. You've pretty much promised future teams of young girls, that YOU will give them a beat down. This IS a very special Campbell County team. Once in a blue moon things just line up and the stars are definitely lined up for these girls. A team such as this DIDN'T JUST HAPPEN. These young ladies have put in a lot of blood, sweat, tears and a ton of hard work. Not to mention the money and time their parents have invested. I have no child or grandchild on this team, but from the compliments these young ladies have received on here. I'd be proud if one of them were. I hope these young ladies can go on to win it all, THEY HAVE SURELY EARNED SUCH A REWARD.

Tanner and Taylor Clos are 1st cousins twice removed from Billy Ray Lickert. Just some trivia, small world. But I sure was a fan of Lickert.
