Glad I'm not the only one who thinks this.

Unless they drop out of the district, they'll still be playing Johnson Central and Ashland.

I think he should get one more year because next year he will have a lot of key players returning for their senior year. With that being said, I still don't see the wins being there, especially when you're playing Ashland, Johnson Central, Raceland, etc. Maybe they should consider dropping out of the district and schedule down some, try playing teams like Bath, Lewis Co., etc. to get the numbers back up. Nothing against West, but getting beat by them in a rivalry game 50-0, shows that we have a long ways to go before we're even competitive in our district.

Congrats to Raceland on the victory. Raceland-Paintsville should be an epic game.

I was expecting a Russell victory, but I figured it would be somewhat closer.

East fumbles in the red zone, #22 for Fairview recovers around the goal line and takes it to the house, 2pt conversion was good, 26-6 Fairview.

East has moved the ball really well, but some costly fumbles have negated scoring opportunities. Fairview could go to #22 all night if they wanted as East has struggled to contain him. Good game so far.

The most action I saw at the game was at halftime, as a fight broke out in the entry way.

I didn't expect a East win, but I did expect it to be closer than this.

Russell is controlling time of possession big time. Ashland's offense needs to give the defense a break or look for Russell to capitalize in the second half.

That's the reason me and my daughter decided on watching this game instead of the East-West game, as we figured this would be a much closer game.

I also can't understand why LSU hasn't moved on from Harris yet. They have arguably the best set of skill players in the nation, sans the quarterback.

I think West pulls away late in the game to win 35-21.
