The only question left to be answered for this game is how soon does Russell get a running clock. The only challenge Russell has left is in their last game, which should be a good one.

Johnson Central has the most size of any team I've seen this year. They should be in for another deep playoff run this year. As for East, I thought they played with more fight than they did against Greenup, even if the scoreboard says otherwise.

Congrats to Russell on the win. Their next 3 games will be nothing but fine tuning for the only real game they have left, Raceland.

As far as Eastern Kentucky goes, it's Ashland's Putnam Stadium hands down.

Sadly, East probably won't even come close to matching this total against Johnson Central next week, as they held Boyd County to 7 yards.

As ugly as this game was, next weeks Johnson Central game will more than likely be worse, as they play @ East Carter.

It would be news to me as well, also curious as where they heard that.

So do we continue to play Johnson Central, a team we have NO CHANCE of beating anytime soon or play a team like Lewis Co. that we COULD POSSIBLY beat?

That's a tough schedule for any team, let alone a rebuilding team like East. Getting beat by some of these teams by scores such as 49-6, only serves to set us back in rebuilding imo. If we played a weaker schedule, and the scores got closer and the wins more frequent, then you might see those kids in the hall you mentioned earlier going out for football.
