Predictions and thoughts?

Greenup wins big, 49-6.

Greenup by whatever score they want. Looking down the road only East Carter appears to be Rowan's chance for averting a winless season. At a scoring average of only 5 points per game, I hope the boys can keep their heads high and be part of putting the administrative/parent disfunction behind them. Better days are ahead. Hope meddling, helicopter parents have learned life lessons most of us learned in the kindergarten sandbox..."be kind to your playmates and always tell the truth".

East Carter is now ranked higher in Litkenhaus. 0-10 for Rowan is very possible given the game is in Grayson.

As for Rowan I don't think things get much better next season. District and non district opponents alike (if the schedule is constant with this year) will be tough. A turn around/ culture change is going to take a while even with an experienced coach like Peterson.

Running clock Greenup continues to win.

Greenup county getting some extra practice time for their JV team this week.

Rowan has a good group of freshman right now. I think that group could have some success when they get to be juniors and seniors. The problem is, how many of those kids will stick it out until then. Kids want to win right now and often don't have the long range vision to take some lumps now and win later.

2 consecutive years of possibly not winning a game (which is a real possibility) will cause the next uprising for a new coach and the cycle will start over again.
