There are always 2 sides to every story. CAL never spit on the logo after the game. They received their trophy after the game right next to the logo and celebrated as a team - to the left of the logo, not on top of it. As for during the game, I have a hard time believing he would say anything to a player on the field. The hit on the QB was clean and right as the QB released the ball. The ball went out of bounds and the CAL coaching staff was wanting a flag for intentional grounding, not celebrating an injured player, come on now. As soon as they saw the player was injured they immediately called their team to the sideline and told everyone to take a knee. Everyone clapped as the QB left the field. As the game went on, adult fans began standing against the railing calling players by name and yelling personal attacks. As CAL left the field they were cursed at and threatened by adults. It’s always important to remember that we shouldn’t throw stones from a glass house.
