  1. I can't wait to watch this game on Friday. It should be a great one. Should be a high scoring affair. North will score points on Etown. I just don't think it will be enough. Etown hasn't played anyone with North Hardin's offensive ability yet so it will be interesting to see how North performs on offense. Etown will score points because North has given up a bunch of points this year. My pick 42-28 Etown.
  2. I don't care who wins, but on paper PRP should win. 6A school and they are 3-0. I know 2 of PRP's wins were gifts. They handled Meade easily though which is eye opening. It should be a good game. I will be at the North Hardin and Elizabethtown next week. I can't wait to see this one! Then I will catch the Central and John game the following week. Some good games coming up in the Etown area. Central and South Warren this week too!!
  3. Or they could very well lose the next 2 as well. PRP is loaded and Central Hardin will offer all the Bulldogs want I would imagine.
  4. I haven't seem Etown play, but I think they beat North Oldham at home this week. I think North Hardin is the only team who can or will beat them. The rest of the schedule posted on this site is very weak. There opponents will have far below a .500 record I would guess by year ending. West jessamine 0-2 and Marion is the same. Adair won't beat Etown. We saw what happened to Adair last year when they played a quality opponent. Throttled. From what I hear Etown has a nice team, but it will be hard to gauge how good they are playing this schedule. I have watched Cecil play over the past couple years and he is as good as anybody. He is a threat to scorer every time he touches it. It will be interesting to see how they matchup with Caldwell or Paducah come playoff time. Being from the etown area I hope the go 10-0!!
  5. John Hardin is very athletic on defense. Can Caldwell deal with North Hardin's team speed? I don't know much about Caldwell. Very evident they can score points. I think Caldwell wins at home.
  6. Big numbers against poor opponents. With that said Etown has some nice skill on this team. Hard to judge how good they are until they play a quality team. I do look for the panthers to win this matchup though. Etown will be challenged this week vs north Oldham and vs North Hardin and that's the only teams left to challenge them. Cecil is a very good runner and Payne does a good job at wide out. Wonder if the qb situation stays the same this week? Will they continue to rotate quarterbacks?
  7. Keeping stats for north will be much the same. No telling how many points will be scored in this game.
  8. I wouldn't start panicking on John Hardin quite yet. They are 1-1 and lost to a juggernaut in SW. South probably will be 15-0. That isn't a bad loss. They very well could be 3-3 out of the gate. JH has dropped to 4A and according to KHSAA their next 4 opponents are all 6 A opponents except for Warren Central. Coach Lewis hasn't dogged anybody that's for sure looking at their schedule. Central Hardin is playing a very similar schedule, but even tougher IMO. John needs to win this week because PRP and Central are going to be very tough games.
  9. John has a good team, but they are young still. JH doesn't have patsies on their schedule so some early losses are expected in my opinion. South Warren is very good and they will be 10-0 I would guess if not 15-0. Harry Doyle makes some good points too. I doubt Mark Brown would have left when he did if the cupboard was full at John. Most, including me, didn't expect him to coach again. Don't panic on JH. A loss to SW is NOT a bad loss.
  10. Good rebound by the Bulldogs. It could have been worse than the score indicated. John played real good defense against a great offensive team. John was able to run the football at will. #21 had a huge night for John. North Qb is a very nice player.
  11. Central will get Paducah. They will be to big and physical I think.
  12. Central Hardin is playing a brutal schedule for sure. Too many teams try to find easy wins, but is that helping your team develop. Central will be battle tested. I think they beat Paducah this week. They will win the battle up front I think. I haven't seen Paducah play, but I think size will be the factor. I can't wait for the central Hardin and South Warren game.
