2A is going to be real boring, at the top, for the remainder of the season. LCA has Raceland the last game but other then that I see a lot of running clocks by the top 4.

It's the new fad in college. It's suppose the confuse the OL on blocking assignments and disguise blitzers. They used it against CAL and it was very effective. I think it took them by surprise. I'm sure Catholic saw it on film and practiced it all week. That and LCA seemed to be less disaplined this week on gap assignments. There were often 2 guys in the same gap.

It was cool to see Stoops and Coan at the game. What an atmosphere. I am guessing there were close to 5,000 at the game.

Wasik for Catholic is one of the most elusive QBs I’ve seen this year. LCA has had him sacked 5 or 6 times tonight and somehow he's gotten away.

Mayfield has its own elite RB. Ju Ju is a beast. It’s gonna be fun to see how this all plays out.

I would also say that about LCA but the coaching staff is doing an amazing job on defense. It was a combination of youth and the offenses they played early. They have the athletes, they just did not have much experience at DB. That is changing. I’ve seen the DB’s come a long way from week 1. I think they will only get better as the year progresses. Their front 6 are as good as any in 2A. I think any of the top 4 could beat each other on a given night. I think the RPI #1 is bigger than any year since the RPI has been in existence.

I always thought the band was not aloud to play during game play either. Maybe that was just the rule at the school set.

Going with LCA in this one. Lexington is small big town and these kids know each other. LCA players have gone a year having to hear about the thrashing they took last year. I think they will be up for this game. LCA by 14.

Curious to what the Beechwood folks think? Better than Cam?

The difference of a very good running game makes this LCA team dangerous. Something they did not have last year.
