6. Murray at 6A McCracken County

7. Green County at 6A Barren County

8. Somerset at 4A Lincoln County

9. Prestonsburg at Betsy Layne

10. Crittenden County vs. #3 Owensboro Catholic

It’s going to be tough sledding for any remaining teams left to play Beechwood. I would assume that their district games are going to be running clocks, if not early ones in some. I’m guessing that Walton or Carroll County is their toughest game remaining before the playoffs. This might be the case for LCA, Mayfield, and OC as well. 

LCA is definitely the team to beat.

Yes if they have to beat Mayfield then Beechwood then OCath in consecutive weeks.  Probable?  No.  

They can be beaten by a 2A team. IMO Mayfield has the better overall athletes in 2A but Beechwood and OC can beat them as well...

The wrong question is being asked.

The question is can this "unbeatable" LCA team win a title?

I mean, we hear this every year, don't we?

Would you say this is their best team in the past 3 years? I thought 2 years’ ago team with Brown was better and they still came up short. 

How's the LOS for the other top 2A teams?

I would say this team is their best team to date. They have 8 kids with D1 offers, including their two players that touch the ball the most. Boley and Hensley
