Holmes run a 3-4 D. Not sure I've seen anyone play a 3-4 this season.

Holmes warming up QB has a good arm but they are small in numbers. Looks like 24 players are dressed.

Raceland Russell and Ashland all play home playoff games tomorrow night. Would love to watch one of the other games but obviously can't. Wish their was a way they played some of these games on Friday and some Saturday.

Why did they play this game tonight and start the game at 630? Congrats to Paintsville.

Last time these 2 played was 11-7-2014. Final was 49-14 Tomcats. I will say about the same score this time too.

Ashland has beaten JC and they are the defending Champs. Beating them for the District is one thing, beating them for the Region is another. The Ashland JC winner hoists the trophy.

Fairview has a lot of injuries and not a lot of bodies.

Scott, Rowan may hang around the first half though.

Agreed but Ashland, JC and Greenup are probably the favorites to get by the 1st round and Rowan will need a lot of help. They all have collectively more then 50 percent shot to advance.

Ashland - Cov Holmes Johnson Central - Mason County Greenup County- Bourbon County Rowan- Scott Obviously Rowan going to have to have a lot of help but it could happen!

Think your selling 4A short, yes JC lost to Belfry and the Tomcats. Belfry will steam roll 3A and any team not named Belfry would need a lot of help beating Ashland and Johnson Central in 4A.

Could be one of the better games in the first round!

All the 0-10 teams should have a playoff so some of them could get a Win.

Matney and Johnson Central won't be in a very good mood when Mason County shows up. Running clock should be in effect pretty quick!

Bourbon County and Greenup County could be a great game

Their run D is much better then the pass D but usually get good pressure on the QB. They just don't play enough good pass oriented teams most years.

Not seen Bourbon this season but Ashland beat them badly last year. Think Greenup get the W and gets the rematch with the Cats!!!
