Green beat Danville 61-22 in the 09 playoffs but played very competitively with the Ads the following 3 years. Since then, it has been ugly. Green beat LCA in '11 & '12. LCA defeated green in a weather shortened but competitive game in'15 and LCA handled green last year.

That is why I find this match a bit odd. There have been years where Green would be very competitive with KNox but not sure this year is one of them.

I doubt that is the reason. Green never has played those type games. I know green was looking to downgrade their non district a bit after some beatings from Danville and LCA-2 programs we were beating when those contracts were signed.

Khsaa website is showing a game vs green co. Haven't heard anything about from the green co side.

THey apparently are still in district play. With that district, and Glasgow sitting across town from them, may be the toughest job in the state.

Same with Green co. Green beat Nelson in regular season but lost in semis to Nelson co. Only game green has won in region since 1980. Both green and Nelson were legit top 20 teams.

Used to live in Henderson, could never understand why they weren't consistently better in football. The athletes are there though they lose a few to Evansville

Heard an offer was extended. Would be a big splash (and a very good) hire if the name I heard is correct.

Oliver is really the only one that saw significant minutes before this year. So I don't buy"tourney tested" line of thinking. There is something to be said for a winning culture and the new coach really did a great job. I really thought the Taylor kids played their hearts out and made the clutch plays. Adair lost their composure and let the pressure get to them. Part of it is due to lack of a tough schedule-completely agree there. They play a wide open-some might say undisciplined style, took a ton of bad shots imo.

I think it worked fine. They do have a solid in house candidate in former Casey co coach Sam Marple

I am no fan of his or Taylor co but He has won his share at Taylor. No coach would go in there and win 70%, the talent simply isn't there to do it. However, I wouldn't be shocked to see them compete for a regional title in 2-3 yrs

He has done a very good job at Taylor. The turnaround he orchestrated mid year the first year was amazing. Solid results the next two years. Taylor has had average talent at best for a 4a school. They do have promising soph and freshman classes.

There are plenty of schools in the 5th region JH would easily handle. Makes it tough though when you are probably 4th in your district (for now).

My understanding is he was being recruited as a tight end? Is he a high major de end prospect?
