I am not sure about that.. Glasgow is a quality program but it's also a program with 0 State Titles. This is still a 5A school with a 5A population base.

 

Not an easy job at all.. rural counties never are and Glasgow DOES hurt...

 

Yet I would probably put these schools as being much tougher gigs right off the top of my head:

Jenkins- Tiny District, low funding, much nicer county schools nearby with impeccable facilities

 

Phelps- Completely landlocked tiny district

 

Lynn Camp- Smack dab between Knox Central and Corbin. Always going to be tough to draw talent.

 

Berea- Tiny District with little funding with a ncie county school nearby.

 

Bellevue- Tiny underfunded District in the middle of large powerhouse schools of NKY

Dayton- See above

Ludlow- See above

 

 

Apollo- Have Owensboro and OCath drawing talent

 

Atherton- The bottom of the pecking order in jefferson County when it comes to drawing talent and facilities

Shawnee- See above

Iroquois- See above

 

 

East Ridge- School formed by consolidating three schools, two of which that didn't play football or have a feeder system. Must compete with Pikeville and a much nicer Shelby Valley for talent.

 

Pike Central- How would you like to be the school directly between Belfry and Pikeville?

 

Sheldon Clark- The school that was the single hardest hit by the economy. Horrible facilities with solid programs to your North, South, and West.

Since 2003 Barrens on field production has them #153 in Ky out of 221 schools in Calpreps Dynasty list. So 68 programs below them.
