The biggest reason I have heard from my friends in the travel circuit is that AAU is strictly a money making organization. For the price they pay for membership fees and tournament entry fees they don't get as much exposure for their players as they can elsewhere. The elite teams like Premier gain nothing by putting their best groups in the state AAU tournament because no one is there to evaluate talent for college recruiting. The lower level teams that aren't looking to get big time exposure can play cheaper elsewhere.

If Sebree is cleared by KHSAA CCHS will win 2nd region this year. UHA may struggle to have a winning record after losing Sebree and the other kid that left for Trigg County.

I agree that they are hands down the team to beat in the 4th region and should at least make it to Saturday at state. I think you're underselling Ayers. He didn't have his best showing at state but he will be their best all around player next year.

How about we let the kid play a game in the NBA first before we automatically put him ahead of Rondo. Everybody always wants to emphasize greatness with rings, well Rondo has one and they wouldn't have won it without him either. Let's have this debate in 4-5 years.

Hardworker for sure and yes he is a combo guard at CovCath. I just can't see him playing the point in college though. He will be an undersized 2 that can guard the other team's best guard.
