Very nice. But could do without the theatrics.

I didn't know Vito played basketball too. Man, that kid is just a stud through and through.

According to coast2coast he is rated number 1 in Ky and number 15 in NATION for class of 2020 in round ball. Some of the football coaches at Bowling Green swear he is better at football. If he can keep his head on straight and grades where they need to be - look out! There will be no stopping him in a couple of years

Meh. OJ Mayo dunked in the 7th grade in a high school game, stole the inbounds pass and drained a 3. That elicited a timeout.

I'm sure he is. I guess I just don't get too geeked when a 15yo kid dunks anymore. I look forward to watching him play.

yeah how old is he? What grade a player is in doesn't really make a difference anymore with all of the hold backs. He could be 13 and in 7th grade which would be impressive or he could be getting ready to turn 15 which is not impressive at all.

I think I've read that he turned 14 in the spring, which would put him just ahead of the curve in terms of age.

He's going to be in 8th grade this upcoming school year.

It's not so much about getting geeked than showcasing upcoming talent in the state. At the same time if the last middle school kid you saw dunk was OJ Mayo........he is in the NBA.

Sure is, and dunks in middle school are relatively common. Again, no slight to the kid, just saying that a dunk just doesn't really light my wick at that age any more. Now if a girl did it in the 7th grade, that would be something.

I've sat through 6 years of middle school ball and have never seen a kid in middle school dunk in a game or warmups. In fact the only one on video I have seen was Carson Williams when he was in the 8th grade. Consider me impressed but not because he dunked in the game but because I don't know the kid played basketball. He'll likely make his name known when he puts on the Purple and Gold for the BG Purples and steps on the gridiron.

Been in AAU nationals every year til the 9th grade and warmups are a dunk-a-thon once you get to the 7th. Not every kid, but scores of them.

 

What position does he play in football? RB? QB?
