Open Jobs
Not much out west other than reclamation projects at places like Webster County and Logan County. If Jaggers can do well at those places, he would be elevated to legend status. Edmondson County might be a possibility since it is the only decent job open out west. If Jaggers can get an Illinois teaching license, just found out that Massac County across the river from Paducah has a football coach opening.

Top Returning Players for 2016 in Western Kentucky
I do not know the young man's name, but the quarterback at Christian County would have to be on that list of top players in Western Kentucky. If I am not mistaken, he was a sophomore last year.

Mayfield 2049
Would this mean that a certain team in blue to the north of Mayfield would no longer be in existence by 2049?

WKU (and its stadium) and the C-USA championship game - Plan Revealed
Warren Central is about a mile from Western's campus. BG High is about 3 or 4 miles from WKU and South Warren is about 10 miles away. An another school I forgot to mention was Greenwood High and I think they are about eight miles from campus.

WKU (and its stadium) and the C-USA championship game - Plan Revealed
The solution for teams needing to dress for the games would be to practice and dress at nearby high schools such as Warren Central, Bowling Green, or South Warren and then take a bus to Houchens Feix Stadium. If BG or South Warren are in the championship, then let schools from other classes use their facility for practice and locker room use. For example, St X or Trinity can use BG's facilities, Mayfield or Pulaski County can use facilities at Warren Central, and DeSales or Male can use the facilities at South Warren.

McLean County 27 Todd County Central 21 2 OT
Todd Central will not have a better chance at a win until its last game against Logan County. Its next two games are against Owensboro Catholic and Butler County.

How did your school gets its colors and nickname?
Todd County Central is known as the Rebels and was picked to honor Jefferson Davis, who was born in Fairview on the Todd County-Christian County line. The red and grey colors were picked probably because it was the standard uniform colors of a Confederate soldier. I think as a compromise, Christian County opened at the same time and picked the nickname of the Colonels.

Unique Venues and Atmospheres in Kentucky
Many receivers and tight ends have said they wanted to try going up in that end zone corner to catch a pass, but have never succeeded.

Unique Venues and Atmospheres in Kentucky
Both War Memorial in Mayfield and Rhea in Russellville are great places for football games. Rhea is especially known for the east end zone with the upper right corner going uphill. A few more stadiums to recognize: 1. Ty Holland Stadium-Murray- Built at the same time as Rhea and War Memorial. Scoreboard built on side of old Murray HS which is now the middle school. 2. Perdue Field-Trigg County Cool train whistle used when Trigg County scores a touchdown, just like at UL. 3. Fryar Stadium- Ft. Campbell Great environment when Ft. Campbell does well. One of few places where the game ball is parachuted into stadium by a solder from the 101st Division.

If that was the case, I wonder what the numbers are of kids playing ice hockey or field hockey in high school?

Should Semi-Finals be played at a neutral field?
Split the concessions three ways between the host and the two teams playing each other. Also, some other sites to look at in the west would be either Owensboro or Hopkinsville and Morehead in the east. Each of these places has big stadiums and is accessible by interstate or parkway.

Should Semi-Finals be played at a neutral field?
It would be a great idea. Have state finals on first Saturday in December alternating between Louisville and Lexington and do state semifinals on Thanksgiving weekend. Eastern semifinals would be in Richmond at EKU and Western semifinals would be in Bowling Green at WKU. If UK and UL do not want state finals at their stadiums, have state finals alternate between Richmond and BG and do state semifinals like this: Western Semifinals: Campbellsville, E-town, or Hopkinsville. Friday- 1A, 3A, 5A Saturday- 2A, 4A, 6A Eastern Semifinal-Morehead, Georgetown, or Lexington Dunbar. Friday-2A, 4A, 6A Saturday-1A, 3A, 5A

Christian County 2015/2016
Does anyone know of any other candidates for the Christian County job other than Myles? This has been one of top high school basketball jobs in all of Western Kentucky since the days of Lyle Dunbar back in the 1970's. It might seem strange at this time of why Eades would leave at this time with so much talent coming back and Hoptown losing talent from last year. But it is a long trip everyday from Greenville to Hopkinsville and wants to be closer to family. I also that there is a coach in waiting deal for Eades when Stovall finally retires from the bench at Muhlenburg.

Would be high time for Fulton City and Fulton County to consolidate and become Fulton Central HS. Both athletic programs have become low on the totem pole over recent years. I guess the resistance to this has come from the Fulton City side.

I apologize if you thought I was calling people in Muhlenbeg County crazy. I was referring to the tradition and passion of Muhlenbefg County HS basketball over the years. That would include one of the top programs with victories in the US at Central City, and great players such as Corky Withrow, Tony Hopper, and Greg Franklin at Central City, Patrick Sparks at Muhlenberg North- Ray Harper at Bremen. Heck, even EA Diddle coached both basketball and football at Greenville. I believe Stovall will do very well,

Hopper has taken the job at South Warren. Next move is up to Muhlenberg Co. Will it be Stovall back into the fray or someone else enter into the crazy world of high school basketball in Muhlenberg County?

Webster County 2015
Not a very good time for Whitaker to say goodbye. Even though Webster County has improved greatly, realignment was unkind to them. They are now back in 2A and instead of playing teams like Tilghman, Trigg County, and Ft. Campbell in district play, they now will have to teams like Mayfield and Murray in district. This might hearken back the 2A "super-district" back in the late 70's in Western Kentucky that had Mayfield, Murray, Ft.Campbell, Caldwell County, Trigg County, Heath, Todd Central, and Webster County. Usually it was Todd Central, Webster County, and sometimes Trigg County fighting to stay out of the basement.

Open Jobs/Filled Jobs 2015
This hire seems to look pretty good. Sullivan coached under Tim Haworth at Hopkinsville from 2010-12, which was about the time the Tigers started to roll. He was at Muhlenburg County last year, which usually has good teams year in and year out. Todd Central has not had much success in recent years since Dennis Pardue left in the early 2000's to become Russellville's head coach. It is a struggle to get out of the 13th District with the likes of Franklin-Simpson, Russellville, and Logan, much less the 4th Region with BG, Warren Central, and Greenwood looming on the horizon.

This is my first post on Bluegrass Preps. Todd County Central can be taken off the list. Todd Central hired Chris Sullivan as its new basketball coach on May 15 per the Kentucky New Era. Sullivan was a former assistant coach at Muhlenburg County and at Hopkinsville. Also, I noticed that Cumberland County is on the list as both needing a coach and hiring a coach. I hope that was just a typo.
