Who will be the top returning players in Western Kentucky for 2016?

Bowling Green running back Jamal Carothers should be a Mr. Football candidate. QB Clark Payne and WR Deangelo Wilson return on offense and DL Daylon Coffer will anchor the defense.

I do not know the young man's name, but the quarterback at Christian County would have to be on that list of top players in Western Kentucky. If I am not mistaken, he was a sophomore last year.

sophomore highlight - KOLBE LANGHI highlights

Trajon Bright - RB, Mayfield

Kyle Hurt - LB, Mayfield, Jr.

Along with Langhi Christian returns Sophmore RB/WR Ziyon Kenner. Over 1,500 total yards of offense.

Sophomore Highlights!!! - ZIYON KENNER highlights

JR Keyron Catlett 2,758 career yards receiving.

Junior Year! - KEYRON CATLETT highlights

That I have not seen named

QB/DB Rex Henderson, Butler County

DL Dalan Cofer, Bowling Green

WR Deangelo Wilson, Bowling Green

RB Kayron Namvong, South Warren

DL Wallace McCoy, Paducah Tilghman

QB Shane Burns, Caldwell County

RB Javonte Riley, Caldwell Co

I know Owensboro has some great players back as well

Shane Burns - QB.

Javonte Riley - RB

Zach Gaither - WR

Trel Riley - WR, RB

Cole Baker - DE

Hunter Vanhooser - MLB

Garrick Lamb - T, DT

Zavion Henderson - LB, FB

These are the return players for Caldwell. Not all, but most notable.

I suspect McCracken County's Cash Jones and Tyce Daniel will hook-up for their fair share of passing yards.

Hayes will have big season at WR next year Litten at QB 76 total TDs 36passing 39 rushing truly a dual threat also defensively Jacob lacy unstoppable along with Namvong running the ball next year will be a fun year to watch South Warren on the offensive side

Christian Co will be in the mix next year

Owensboro Catholic

On Offense they lose quit a bit of talent, but 4 OL starters are back and some WRs Weston Jacob and Hayden Hartz. They have to replace a 2 WR, QB, and a RB.

QB will be the question mark for OC, but every year they seem to have one groomed and they just fit right in.

Defensively they have 3 DL coming back, 2 LB's coming back and 2 DB's coming back. Losing Boarman and his 200 tackles will hurt some, but their DL were very young last year and have alot of upside to them as well. Nick Blair and Riney are back at LB.

I think Million Dollar question will be, how much of the offensive playbook can they use in 2016? There might be some learning curves early on for the new QB. They Scrimmage Henderson Co and open up with Evansville Mater Dei.

In the Owensboro area:

Owensboro Catholic- WR Weston Jacob, LB Nick Blair

Owensboro- LB Malik Mundy, RB Landon Board

Daviess County- QB Adam Bouchard, WR Chandler Crite, DB's Powell Brothers

Apollo-QB Brandon Alexander, DL Jace Sutherland

Hancock County-RB Jacob Smith

Ohio County-QB Heath Simmons

McLean County-RB/LB Brycen Parker

Graves County -#8 Ryan Mathis - QB -Freshman

Ryan Mathis - Hudl

Graves County - #11 Trevor Grant - WR - Sophomore

Hoptown has their QB returning and he had better numbers than the QB across town in every category even wins! He is getting looks from what I here from several SEC and OVC programs. Catlett is the other top returning player that is getting D-1 looks.
