  1. This is once again open after hearing the coach that was hired has taken an assistant coach position elsewhere.
  2. Yes assistant at Taylor now. Sounds like rumors of a good payday as well.
  3. This job has came open after head coach Carlos Quarles took the open position at South Warren.
  4. Quarles takes the South Warren job after being the head coach at Russellville for 3 seasons compiling a 22-49 record and 1 region tournament appearance. He also has 10 years of assistant coaching experience at Warren Central from 2007-2017.

  6. Tony Patterson resigns after 7 seasons as head coach. Knox Central won 7 district titles and 3 region titles under Patterson. His record at Knox Central was 170-50.
  7. Kyle Eades has resigned as head coach after 6 seasons. He led the Mustangs to Sweet 16 appearances in the last 2 seasons.
  8. Longtime coach Todd Messer announced his resignation. He was the coach from 2006-2022 and went 314-166 during that span. His 314 wins is 3rd most in the 4th region during that time frame.
  9. Frick was previously the head coach at Graves County for 8 seasons. He won 5 district titles and a 2017 region championship at Graves County.
  10. Leslie coached the last 2 seasons as the head coach at Seneca going 21-25. Before that he coached 15 years in Ohio at 3 different schools, coached the Eastern HS girls team for 7 seasons going 138-60, and spent one season as an assistant on the North Oldham boys team.
  11. Look for this move to be in connection with the open Oldham County opening.
  12. Buford is a Glasgow native with plenty of coaching experience. He was the head coach for 7 seasons at Memphis-Houston high school in Tennessee. Also has been an assistant at Simeon in Chicago, and helps with the Team Thad EYBL program out of Memphis.
  13. William (RJ) Buford is the rumored name for this one to watch.
  14. With former head coach Josh Kays taking the Green County job, Thomas Nelson is now open.
  15. Green County hires the former head coach at Thomas Nelson Josh Kays as their new head man. Kays was head coach for two seasons at Thomas Nelson going 32-19 with a region tournament appearance this past season. He was an assistant coach for 5 seasons there as well. Kays replaces veteran coach Keith Young at Green County.
  16. According to Anthony Wireman on twitter "Hearing from a good source that Green County High School has offered their head coaching job to Josh Kays. Kays was 18-13 at Thomas Nelson last season".
  17. Rumor is pointing to Josh Kays getting this. Look for possible announcement within next week or so.
  18. Former Louisville player Ellis Myles has been hired as Fern Creek head coach. Myles has previously been an assistant coach at Collegiate, while also founding the AAU Program Louisville Magic which produced players such as D'Angelo Russell and Quentin Snider.

  20. Gatewood returns to Moore after being the head coach there for one season in 2012/13 leading them to a 23-8 record and district title. Gatewood also made head coaching stops at Taylor County from 2013-16 where he led them to two 5th region titles. His last head coaching job was 2017-18 at the now closed 22 Feet Academy in South Carolina
