  1. This score was seriously shocking because of the talent Boyle County has.
  2. Adair is 7-0 with 2 nice wins over Etown and Taylor County. They could be 11-0 going into the new year if they handle business in their next 4 games with Campbellsville, South Warren, Glasgow, and Monroe County.
  3. Rankings from both Nations Elite and KSR for week 3.
  4. Adair improves to 5-0 as they knock off a previously 3-1 Grayson County team. The junior duo of Isaiah Cochran and Connor Loy led the Indians with 24 and 20 points. Adair will have a big game on Tuesday as they host Etown who is ranked top 15 in the state in some polls.
  5. Indians improve to 5-0 with a win over their rivals. Taylor County had a halftime lead but Adair outscored them by 19 in the second half. Isaiah Cochran and Connor Loy led the Indians combining for 37 points and 19 rebounds
  6. Pretty sure Deuce Bailey was out for BG but not 100% on that.
  7. Indians start 3-0 with a nice road win over a tough Green County team. Sophomore Dawson Gilbert led the way with 19 points, followed by junior Isaiah Cochrans 18 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 assist, as well as junior Connor Loys 14 points and 9 assist.
  8. Adair County defeated North Hardin in a scrimmage 76-57 tonight. North was without Shaun Boykins who's recovering from a football injury.
  9. Think you can argue as many as 6-7 teams could win the region this year. It has that much depth and seems to be wide open.
  10. Tuesday November 14th Adair County at North Hardin @ 6:30 ET
  11. Logsdon is no longer at Caverna as he transferred to Grayson County.
  12. This ranking tbh is pretty bad. Warren Central lost 7 of their rotation players off the state title team. Etown lost 2 starting guards that were double digit scorers.
  13. Anyone know if Union County will have this game live-streamed anywhere?
  14. Union County comes in 9-1 after dropping their first game of the season 27-12 last week to Greenwood. Adair County finished the regular season 7-3 after a 30 -18 win over Metcalfe County. Both teams have dynamic QB's who are much more run than pass, they are for sure the best players for both teams.
  15. A pair of 2025's for Adair County received D1 offers today. 6'0 point guard Connor Loy and 6'7 wing Isaiah Cochran both received offers from Mcneese State. It's the first D1 offer for Loy and 4th for Cochran
  16. The 6-3 Indians take on the 2-7 Hornets in the final game of the regular season. Adair is coming off a 49-20 win at McCreary Central, while Metcalfe lost a hard fought game to Green County last week 38-21 which was even closer that the score says. Both teams are led by Dual Threat QB's who have dangerous legs, Lane Grant for Adair and Mason Estes for Metcalfe.
  17. Would have to say this is the most up in the air the region has been in awhile and with arguably 8-9 teams who could win the whole thing or beat one another. Adair Bardstown North Hardin Etown Central Hardin Larue County Taylor County Green County Washington County I see very little difference in that group of 9.
  18. Theirs a rumor that 2 impact players could be heading to the 5th region tomorrow from another school. Something to watch for.
  19. would agree there. My assumption is since Cochran averaged 11 ppg at Collins last season he was ranked lower than some guys in front who averaged more points even though he does have a very high ceiling and 3 D1 offers already. Would not be shocked if he plays like a top 5 player this season.
  20. what's your thoughts on them? I know of at least 2 transfers at Taylor and North Hardin who were not in there in time who would be top 10 likely also.
  21. Cats Pause has released their annual rankings, here are the top 10 team and player rankings for the 5th region. 1. Elizabethtown 2. Washington County 3. North Hardin 4. Taylor County 5. Adair County 6. Central Hardin 7. Larue County 8. Green County 9. Hart County 10. Bethlehem Player Rankings 1. Brett Decker, 6'2 SR- Central Hardin 2. Ayden Evans 6'10 SR- Etown 3. Daniel Allen 6'5 SR- Larue County 4. Shaun Boykins 6'2 SR- North Hardin 5. Beau Baker 6'8 SR- Washington County 6. Taveon Smith 6'2 SR- North Hardin 7. Connor Loy 6'0 JR- Adair County 8. Layken Lyons 6'2 JR- Taylor County 9. Hayden Blakeman 6'5 JR- Green County 10. Isaiah Cochran 6'7 JR- Adair County
  22. This should be a good 3A district matchup Hart County comes in 6-0 with a 1-0 district record, they handled Caverna 46-6 last week. Adair comes in 4-2 with an 0-2 record in district losing to Franklin Simpson, then last week to Glasgow 36-16. Adair has showed they can play with these upper level district opponents but have yet to get over the hump. Hart County will bring a dangerous rushing attack with multiple options out of the Wing T formation. They do not throw the ball but a handful of times in most games. Adair will bring a more balanced attack throwing and rushing led by do it all QB Lane Grant. Adair Could be the toughest test Hart has faced besides Green County, and most certainly with the biggest line.
  23. For anyone wanting to watch this game Friday it will be on the WAIN RADIO YouTube page.
  24. A huge 3A district game Friday night in Columbia this week between the 5-0 Scotties and 4-1 Indians. Glasgow took down rival Barren County 36-35 last week while Adair rolled Monroe County 50-28. Here are some player stats to know of coming into this game - QB Lane Grant for Adair 173 ypg passing, 126 ypg rushing - Easton Jessie QB for Glasgow 168 ypg passing 12 TDS 0 INT, also has 4 rushing TDS Some good receivers in this one -Solomon Stonebraker 97 ypg with 4 TDS, Aiden Smith 54 ypg with 5 TDS -Rico Crowder and Jerrick Martin for Glasgow have combined for over 100 ypg receiving and 8 TDS -Defensively Glasgow has 10 team sacks and 8 interceptions -Adair does not get many sacks but have 9 interceptions including 4 from Smith and 3 from Stonebraker -Rushing wise Grant does most of it for Adair, with 2 other RB's sprinkled in, Glasgow is more RB by committee
