The 2 time 5th region champion in 2015 and 2016 at Taylor County takes over at Caverna. He previously was an assistant at Evangel Christian and Campbellsville University most recently.

Caverna played today with Gatewood coaching and Davier White now there as well as he's enrolled Also a 6'6 kid previously from Bowling Green and a FL prep school is with them this summer but he's not enrolled of my knowledge.

The twins from Caverna have left Taylor and re-enrolled back at Caverna.

Have heard rumors Maxey kid may be headed to Hart County as well.

Know Coach Breeze who just resigned from Adair has a lot of connections to Caverna and would likely be interested if the situation was right.

So here's intel I have heard. Have heard one of Larues key players is rumored to Taylor, Green and Adair Another 2 of their starters rumored to Grayson County for one of them and Meade County. 3 of the Caverna players have been rumored to both Bowling Green and Taylor County. Another rumor is kid from Taylor who would be their lead returning scorer could be headed the prep school route.

This is false Coach Breeze has not applied at Boyle and I talk to him on a daily basis. Boyle and a couple of others schools have reached out to him and asked him to come visit the schools and out of respect he went and met with them but elected to not apply and is planning to stay at Adair as of right now as a teacher. There are a couple of jobs he would be interested in though if they ever opened but as of now they may not be in near future.

Could Sullivan from Cooper be a contender for this job with it being nearby?

Hearing Green's sophomore to be starting point guard has already left to enroll at another 5th region school as well.

will be a rebuild project for sure. Adair lost 8 seniors. All of which were in the 9 man rotation. Gilbert who is a Junior will be only returner with any significant varsity experience in the whole program as the 8 man senior class has had majority of the playing time the past 3 seasons.

Coach Breeze steps down after 10 seasons as head coach of the head coach of the Indians where they went 213-103( 21 wins per season) during his tenure. With the Indians Coach Breeze appeared in the 5th region tournament 5 times winning 2 region titles in 2024 and 2025, along with 1 region runner up in 2017 and 3 district championships. The Indians will be hit hard by graduation but will return 1,000 point scorer Dawson Gilbert for his senior year. Adair also will have an incoming freshman class with high hopes led by incoming freshman 6'7 Truk Jennings who missed this past season. Jennings saw significant varsity minutes this past summer and could be a day one varsity starter next season. This incoming freshman class for Adair won their middle school conference twice. The Indians have been one of the most successful programs in the 5th region over the past 30 years winning 5 region titles. The 5 championships are the most by any team outside of Hardin County as North Hardin has 7, John Hardin with 6 and Etown with 5 during that time span.

Looks like Adair ended up having a closer margin of defeat to Bowling Green than South Oldham and Ashland both.
