Hagen pretty much left the NKY program when Bezold was let go. There was never a hesitation. At Campbellsville he will be starting college with two of his friends that also were on the Boyle basketball team in Chapman Bean and Zach Leigh and he'll be joining his former Boyle teammate, Micah Satterly on the basketball team. Hagen will have familiarity and comfort at Campbellsville and for a kid who knows what his future can and will hold I am very proud of his decision. I look forward to watching him at Campbellsville. There are quite a few kids from Boyle County attending Campbellsville. I think he made an excellent choice.

From what I understand the Hoop Dreams 17U Orange team has two kids on their team that are ineligible to play according to the KY State AAU rules. Instead of bringing the other 8 players on the team they chose not to play at all.

That's because Manimal picked up the front runner for Kentucky's Mr. Basketball 2016 who happens to play for one of Manimal's AAU rivals. That's newsworthy and going to make people talk. Bizarre or not.

His game fits their style perfectly.

As of today Tanner Robins will not be playing football and I don't expect that to change.

Tanner Robins playing is still very doubtful as of today but a lot of people, including myself, have our fingers crossed. I'll be surprised if he plays but a guy can and will dream that he does. At the same time I understand why and he has to take care of himself the best way he can. Bright bright future ahead for him. I keep hearing about a kid named Aubrey who is expected to be good and I am hearing that Malik Dow is playing also.

Yes and no. Hoop Dreams-Black is the B Team. Hoop Dreams-Orange is the A Team.

I fully expect Coach Pardue to be named the OC some time in the future. Could be in a couple of weeks or before practice starts in July. Not sure when but I expect it to be him at some point.

Hearing he has had a change of heart and is headed to Centre College now. I was told he was going to walk on at Samford but is now headed to Centre College.

There were no tryouts. The team was chosen by a committee.

I would as well but it's naive to believe that people wouldn't say we put them on the team because of our bias. My KY All Star team would make people lose their minds and cause rage throughout the state. And no, I'm not sharing it publicly.

Good question. A lot of colleges have JV teams. I wonder if Transy does as well. I already liked their incoming class. I love that class now. Wow. So much talent.
