I'd say they're about the same if not 90% as good. Still too early to tell for sure thought. I think Highlands is going to be even tougher than last year for CovCath. It's going to be prime rivalry form imo.

I got what you said about the hypocrisy of the criticism Highlands got for getting non local transfers; But who's to say those kids are going to sit on the bench? You say it like it's a guarantee.

CovCath and Highlands are the two best teams in 5A imo.

Highlands hanging with Knoxville was not what I expected at all. Looks like CovCath has some competition this year.

The best team CovCath played in 2017 was SFD and they were ranked in the 700's. Trinity played Moeller, Warren Central, St. Xavier, all ranked in the 200's. Was CovCath capable of beating Trinity in 2017? I think so. But that's why we'd all like to see the game happen. All I'm saving is because CovCath didnt play as good opponents, I cannot say with confidence that CovCath would beat Trinity.

Trinity was definitely the best team in 2017. They were undefeated and beat far better opponents. I don't compare Trinity to CovCath to determine whether or not CovCath had a good season though.

Come to think of it I think Trinity would have beaten Ryle by a wider margin. Ryle may be better than last year but I predict they be barely above 2,000 on Calpreps.

We know a lot about Trinity, and that they're good. But we still dont know how good CovCath's opponents are. But at this point I'd say Trinity probably wins by 2 TDs.

Ryle beating Conner handily was exactly what I predicted. I had a strong feeling Ryle was way better than everyone thinks.

Does anyone know ticket prices? Edit: Found out. They're $5 for adults, $2 for students.

The defense was no doubt the best thing about CovCath tonight. They never really seemed to be 100% in rhythm on offense. That's something they have to improve on if they're going to be state contenders again. But other than that, dominating win by the Colonels.

Those "overrated" chants aren't holding up very well XD

Mayer dropped 2 touchdown passes. Needs to shake off the nerves.

They routed Oldham County in a scrimmage who was somewhat decent last year. That's all I know.
