Never got a chance to see him play but have heard a lot about him. What's his size and position?

Is Tates Creek a program on the rise? They made strides in the right direction at times last year and took Lafayette to the wire. What do they have coming back and can they keep up the positive momentum?

Can it be their own coach?

Probably one of the least impressive games he has played was last night. In addition to foul trouble he was sick and throwing up at half time. Averages 25 points (52% overall and 41% on 3's)and 8 rebounds a game.

Regardless of grade they are very good and very well coached.

Dishman is back for Bryan Station. He played in the game against Sayre earlier this week. He did not start but played down the stretch. Sayre led by 8 at half. They lost the lead in the 3rd but rallied back and had a chance to win before time ran out. Station 66 Sayre 63. Station was led by Andre Davis with 15, Dishman had 9. Sayre was led by Jake Duby with 29 and 11 rebounds.

Any word on when Dishman will be back? Hate that he's missing a big part of his senior season.

Looks to me like the majority have reported and the minority haven't. Don't know what the fine is but last year at the end of season there were teams that never did report.

He's a junior but probably close to the same age as some of the freshman and sophomores in this game.

Clark did play some. The game was sloppy on both sides and really wasn't as close as the score might indicate. Scott Co lead by 25/26 with 4 minutes to go. Both teams looked like it was the 1st game. They should both improve every week.

Lafayette and Dunbar did split last year but the game Dunbar lost was early when Dunbar was without all but one starter. Lafayette is obviously good but outside of Ross Jenkins they are really made up of role players. No "go to" guy when really need a bucket.

Add Jake Duby from Sayre to that list.

There are also kids that just turned 16 and are entering the 11th grade. Late spring and Summer birthdays are tweeners. You are either a young senior or a little older junior. It's a personal choice. Turning 18 early in your junior year is a bit of a stretch in my opinion but again a personal choice. The only time I take issue with it is when people claim it's not an advantage physically..

Craft is a great player to emulate for all players. Great motor, smart, relentless, etc. but lets not forget he was a great athlete also. That is the part that can't be taught or duplicated by most.

I thought this forum was a place where people could express thoughts and opinions but it seems anymore that if someone has a differing thought or opinion they are attacked. Just my opinion/thought.

I have heard of various summer time middle school all star games in previous years but didn't pay attention enough to get specifics. My son has known a few older kids that have played in them and he thought he would like to try out or at least check them out.

Does anyone have information, schedules, tryout dates, etc. for the summer middle school all star football games?

I won't drop to your level and resort to name calling on an anonymous forum. I do happen to know quite a bit about the agreement that both parties and their attorneys had a hand in drafting. It was not intended nor created to give one side an advantage. Also, I am well aware of contrived logic used to abandon the agreement. Back to the topic of the thread. Bryan station by 2.

Are the tryouts invite only or will they be open?

When will the high school tryouts be for Hoop Dreams? What does the 16u roster look like?

I just said the whole age question could be avoided and the performance stands on its own. But since you ask, I really don't consider it that "significant" for a number of reasons.
