First game of the season along with new faces, that's to to be expected. I haven't heard anyone mention how Mayfield was platooning their receiving core last Friday night. Stinston would hit or miss a guy on a deep ball and MF would bring in a fresh reciever. A couple guys I talked to Friday were saying they are wanting to play an eight reciever rotation. I think that will pay dividends down the road. Reminds me of the state championship team that won against Hazard.

I think the rankings are right. They lost a ton and that's fair based off what they returned. You cant rank them based off potential when the other kids that didnt get the mins last season. I thought the herald rankings having them at #2 was a little much.

More kids. It's sad really. It would be nice if Fulton city and fulton county would consolidate.

LCA or Somerset is who I'm sure will come out that bracket next year. I'm not sure but where did I say this was 1A? Mayfield won a 2A first year back 2015. Not sure where Danville was that year?

I looked at the video a ton and I'm trying to figure put why the ref that called the signal the TD waited to see who had the ball after they were put of bounds? If you watch he leans in to see who has the ball, which was the Mayfield player, and them he signals the TD. Kind of sketchy to me.

I completely agree. Alot of those plays Danville line broke down and he had to create something out of nothing. It is what it is. Mayfield has both qbs coming back running back and 3 or 4 WR so we'll be back. Dont know bout the ads but we will.

Congrats to the ads. They played stellar on both sides. Lots of mistakes for the young cardinals. Keep in mind ALOT of those kids are back next year. Don't know how many the ads are returning but I expect our kids to be back there next December. Once Congrats ads on a perfect season!
