What does Fulton City need to do to improve in 2018? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

Curious if this will be it for Fulton City football? From what I understand they didn't field a middle school team last year (maybe even the year before) and they are listed as not competing in district play starting in 2019. There were only 45 boys enrolled in the school last year.

It's pretty sad really.

I have been told it is not politically pleasing to to merge with Fulton County.

I just hate to see kids that put forth effort not get a chance to get a win from time to time.

If these two merged they would still be way below many of the other teams in class A. I would love to see both be competitive. Fulton City was back in 2008 I believe.

It is more than sad, its academic fraud IMO. Those in charge of the district should be held responsible for not consolidating at this point. Everyone out to get their $$$$$$$ is all it is.

From my understanding, The problem is that it wouldn’t be a consolidation it would be a merger. Fulton county would have all control and Fulton City would have no day.

@sweet16, you're usually in the know on things out west - no matter if they ever consolidate or not, do you anticipate Fulton City continuing to play football after this season?

I honestly don’t see how they can keep going with football. They struggle with numbers with all male sports so I don’t see how football can keep going.
