Our running back has been banged up half the season so that has been done by committee. That Murray game last friday told me all I needed to know. May scored 42 pts in a half against Murray it took of 3 almost 4 to score 40.

With all of that being said our team is super young. I love our team going forward. Go Cards

I specifically remember oc was suppose to be young last year and this was their year to beat Mayfield and advance. At least that was the chatter on here last year around this time.

No disrespect but if Ballard put up as many points as they did against murray I just assumed it would be a running clock by halftime for oc. I'm going to the may/oc game this week I just hope it's a good one.

I hate that the first 2 rounds are jv games for Mayfield. I love the playoffs but I just hate the first 2 rounds with a passion. I wish we had top 10 teams in the second round at least.

I agree. I didn't like how I was hearing multiple people blaming it on the qb for the loss. Anyone who knows football knows that Mayfield had plenty of chances to bust that game wide open and as a team, they failed to do so.

I agree. We kind of went away from the running game and was relying on a sophomore qb to win us the game. Refs were pretty bad all night but we got to be better disciplined on the penalties.
