Yeah, I agree with you. It's wild when you haven't won in a while you get up and rowdy for your team when they play big games but because of our success from the past 7 years it's been like we're kind of expecting a win as a fan base. I know the players are confident but I know coach joe will keep them level headed. Heck, when we played, he had us believing teams that we blew out could beat us. That's how good of a coach he is. Any coach that can make you believe that a winless team can beat you to keep you focused on the task at hand is a great coach imo. I think Friday will be different, knowing that this CAL team is more than capable beating us and winning another title. It's going to be a good one and I can't wait!

It's going to be tough no doubt. In sure CAL fans will probably say the same about MF. With the right game plan though they can be beat. Only thing I worry about is can our young players handle the pressure of every snap counting, keeping a bend not break mindset, and staying discipline on defense? My senior year we had alot of young guys and we got banged up early in the season but as the season progressed we got better and beat a couple teams that we weren't supposedly capable of beating according the local sports writers. Coach Joe and them guys had a great game plan and it worked out both games. That's why I say as long as there is a great game plan put in place and the players can handle being in the moment, they have great odds in advancing.

With our coaching staff and our home crowd, I always give us a shot to win. No matter the opponent. That pride and never quit attitude something you cant teach. I've seen some of the craziest comebacks in that stadium.

I'm ampped for this game. I just hope coach joe and the staff have a great defensive game plan for Wright and them boys. One thing I've noticed about Mayfield these past 4 or 5 games is the discipline level has been alot better. Given they are pretty young but the first half of the season the penalties worried me going forward. It seemed like teams stayed in games that had blowout written all over it because of Mayfield penalties. It's been a treat to watch their development this year.

I just want a good game and no crap. That stuff last week just took away from the game.

That's interesting. Earlier this season when he went out, I never heard what kind of injury it was or if it were an injury. So it's funny that you say that.

Which ever kid is #45 is who I saw throw the cheap shot after the May kid was down. It was uncalled for! the game wasn't out of hand at that point and when you lose you composure it sucks the life out of the game for your. Of course the head coach of OC goes bunkers and gets a flag thrown. That doesn't help your kids either. I understand tension is high but that stuff is uncalled for.

I hope it's what Lawson did back when we played. I haven't seen one big time reciever/coaching staff figure that out yet but I won't give it away if that's what they do. I just know it's frustrating for a reciever that is use to getting alot of touches during the game.

Yeah those 2 qb draws for loses kinda had me like what are we doing? I didn't know exactly why they had Stinson trying to run qb sneaks. As for the fight, it looked wild watching the OC fans rushing out of the stands to fight. That was crazy! Those cops couldn't get across the field fast enough.
