Which Semi-Final Game interests you the most and why? What games will you be keeping a close eye one?

Class 1A

Beechwood/Campbelsville

Raceland/Pikeville

Class 2A

Christian Academy-Louisville/Mayfield

Danville/Glasgow

Class 3A

Corbin/Central

Boyle County/Elizabethtown

Class 4A

Collins/Franklin-Simpson

Johnson Central/Wayne County

Class 5A

Covington Catholic/South Warren

Harlan County/Madison Southern

Class 6A

St. Xavier/Scott County

Trinity/Central Hardin

If I weren't going to Trinity/Central Hardin I would defiantly be at ST. X. The matchup with Scott County should be great.

The games that I'm most interested in this week...

Raceland/Pikeville we played Raceland this season and I'd like to see this season continue for their BGP fans.

Christian Academy-Louisville/Mayfield not the game we expected but the game we get, it will be very interesting to see how CAL moves on from a very emotional win and goes to Mayfield.

Corbin/Central can Corbin make a game of it or will this get away from them quickly like it did for Belfry?

Johnson Central/Wayne County, I generally try to pull for Wayne County and will be in this game. It will take a great game from the Cards but I'll be rooting for them.

The Covington Catholic/South Warren game is the interests me the most for obvious rooting reasons. The game without my team playing that interests me the most is the X/SC game That should be a dandy and may be played in under 1 and 15 minutes.

Can a mod add a poll asking what game, without your team playing, interests you the most?

Raceland won their first every Regional Champion against Pikeville at Raceland in 2013. Likewise, Raceland got their first every win over Pikeville at Raceland in 1990. Here's to continuing the home stand against the Panthers.

That was a lot of typing for a poll, but it's added. lol

Biased? Yes. But I think the Johnson Central/Wayne County game will be a good one!

CovCath/South Warren edges out Boyle/Elizabethtown for me.

First clicked on St. X-Scott County, but changed my mind to the Corbin-Central game.

Can I have all of the above as a choice? There are several on that list that I would pay good money to watch.

CAL @ Mayfield. Mayfield #2 scoring offense in the state. CAL #6 scoring defense in the state. Love these types of matchups.

Obviously pulling for the NKY teams but I don't feel their games will be that close.

With that said I feel like Scott Co vs St X could be a good game to see who takes home runner up in 6A.

I think the St. Xavier/Scott County game would be a quality game to see.

Answered Raceland/Pikeville because it has the potential to be a great game and only 70 miles away. Everything else is too far for old man to make late drive back. All other games will be followed on BGP. Hope game threads keep us current.
