CAL vs. Mayfield:

- Leaving the comfort of their brand new everything to an older but nice facility (grass) accompanied with a long drive. WAR memorial stadium is heavily doused in tradition.

-New kid on the block that has made a name for themself (CAL) from state last year takes on the kid who made the block in the first place. one of the most successful small school programs in kentucky historically vs. one of the best currently.

-Get to see Joe Morris with his constantly well thought out playoffs gameplans plan against one of the best athletes in the state in Milton Wright.

 

St.X vs. Scott County

- The tigers offensive success this week is extremely encouraging and leads me to believe this one will go down to the wire.

- Two teams who know how to beat trinity fighting for the chance to do so

-in regards to talent/size/overall performance, this is probably 2 of the four best teams in the state going at it for 4 quarters for a state championship appearance
