I was at the scrimmage and he is correct. Cooper held their own,, if not for the big plays from Moore and a coverage mistake by their corner it is a different ballgame. I think Dixie wins this game,, but if the Jags show up ready to play,, they make this game real interesting. I am sure both teams have improved from that scrimmage,, so I will be there watching to hopefully see a good football game.

I think Dixie wins easily,,, but I hope neither team is hurt by injuries. From what I have heard,, Cooper is just getting back to full strength. Dixie is on their way to a potentially deep run in the playoffs. It would be a shame for both programs to have a key person get hurt in a game that does not positively impact either season. If it were me,, I would maybe give my starters a quarter of work then pull them. Especially if a win does not help me in any way. Just this man's opinion.

He is a good back,,, and I agree he does seem to get lost in the conversation. #27 from Cooper is also another good back,,very shifty and quick. I think it will a decent game between Dixie and Ryle,, looking forward to seeing this game.

I hear that Grant is big and they have a big running back. If Grant can take a page from the Campbell County playbook and control the line of scrimmage and pound it at Cooper,, they may make the game pretty interesting. I still think Cooper wins but the game could be close if they take them too lightly.

Just depends on what type of defense you are running against. But,,,in looking at some of the top backs that have been in this area like Travis Elliot,, the Bradley kid at Cooper,, and Simpson kid from SK,,, he is not in their league. Just my opinion.

No he is not. He is a big kid with mobility and decent speed but he is no running back.

No one is putting down the program,, just giving my opinion of how I believe the game would go. The comparison between Moore and England is of no consequence. Moore is the QB and as he goes so goes Dixie. IMO Ryle is playing England out of position,, I think he would be much more suited to play TE and have him defended by a LB in pass coverage or a Safety whom he will outmatch with his size. I think the adjustments that Ryle has made to go with a more run heavy offense to get on the winning track for this season is a good move. However,, to end up hear after changing coaches and bringing in a new offense centered around the passing game has to be somewhat of a let down,,, but that is just this man's opinion

England did play,, he just was not a factor. Even though he has had some success over the past two weeks,, IMO he is playing out of position. I have seen this kid play since pee wee and he is not a running back. I think he is an athletic kid who would have more success at TE. That would put him against a LB in pass coverage or a safety that he would outmatch with his size.

Should be an easy game for Dixie,, the Raider nation are hanging their hat on being able to run the ball with the England kid and beating a not so good Campbell County team,, but Dixie is a different animal. I think Dixie wins this game by 3 TD's easily

Just an off night,, the team is better than the score,, I was thinking the game was going to be much closer. I think SK took Dixie too lightly,, they have not faced a team as complete like them. I thought Dixie would win,, but not like this. It would be interesting to see if their paths cross in the playoffs to see the result at that time.

He is the QB that came in and lead Cov Cath on the two scoring drives. It is my understanding that this kid was in the Cooper system and lead their 8th grade team to a Championship. I don't know how true it is but I hear he is one of 3 key defections from Cooper's football program. I just think he would be an asset for Cooper. I don't know if their current QB would beat him out for the starting position,, but I think you would agree that having the competition would make them both better.

I agree,, I have never seen them run a cover 4,, they will shade to the multiple receiver side but I have never seen them in a true cover 4. However if they started a new DB,, there could have been a miscommunication that lead to a coverage breakdown,, either way,, I hope they get back on the winning track next week. I would love to see them make another run in the playoffs

You have to admit the team would be better with him at helm,, it would give them a more mobile QB much like the Morris kid a couple of years ago. Having a kid like him in the program would have to be an asset

Not crazy talk,, just going by the play on the field,, over the past few weeks,, they have looked very beatable. They got lucky to get a win from Conner,,, and now getting beat by South Oldham. I was just wondering is there a bigger problem at Cooper than injuries. You cannot deny they have not looked well on the field,, that is not "crazy talk" that is just obvious.

They are two different types of QB's but if I were building a team around QB play,, I would go with Moore,, the kids is a player

The way he played tonight I am certain the powers that be a Cooper are sorry they let this kid get away. Their team would be much different had he stayed with their program. Its good to see the moved worked out well for him,, I hear he is a quality kid.

Not fast enough to play safety on the next level, IMO the same thing will happen to him as it did with Miles Simpson,, someone would make him a LB

It sounds like the wrong team showed up last night. I have seen Cooper play a couple of times and they looked like two very different teams. One team is really dominating,, the other team just gets pushed around. Have they had that many injuries or is it a deeper problem at Cooper? Did the team peak too early? Looking at the turn around at Ryle and Conner,, seems like the wheels may be loose on the Cooper bus

I just think the district is in an area that new families are not moving into. With that being said,, not really an opportunity to build on anything with their numbers getting smaller every year.

I think it just depends on which Cooper team shows up. When the Jags are on,, they are on and look pretty good. However,, when they are off,, they look very beatable and mediocre. I still think they pull this one out 21 - 7

I think there are some rough years ahead for BC,, very low talent pool and no relief in sight. I feel bad for the program.

I see Tony is just as horrible tonight as he is calling the games over at the Pee Wee field. The calls were just bad all the way around. They called so many penalties that neither team could get into a rhythm,,, he must got paid by the flag

I totally disagree with this,, the biggest snake oil being sold out there is "speed training". There is nothing that is going to make a slow kid faster. If so, the fast kids would start doing it as well
