So Cooper travels to South Oldham to take on the Dragons in what could lead to Cooper being crowned District Champs with a victory. What's everyone's thought on this game? Obviously hoping for a Cooper victory, curious as to what everyone thinks

Mod please add a poll

Of course I like Cooper (admitted homer). Feel like the Dragons are having a down year, and as Cooper may be getting another started or two back, the Jags D should take advantage of that. Prickett keeps getting better and TCA is finding holes more consistently.

Cooper 31 South Oldham 14

Would be a huge win if Cooper can get the W. Pre season I picked So Oldham to win the district and Cooper fighting for 2nd seed. Now they actually have a shot at winning their 3rd District title in 4 years (2011, 2012 tie with So Oldham andoner and now possible 2014).not too shabby.

I will continue (superstious) to not predict a Cooper game this season though

I'm actually expecting a pretty close game. I think the South Oldham / Conner game wasn't a fluke after watching Conner / Cooper last Friday night. I'm hoping Cooper can pull this one out but I think it will be a hard fought game with the outcome in doubt till the final seconds tick off the clock. If South Oldham wins this one we're looking at a possible three way tie for the district between Cooper, Conner and South Oldham.

Mods? Can we get a poll please?

I think it just depends on which Cooper team shows up. When the Jags are on,, they are on and look pretty good. However,, when they are off,, they look very beatable and mediocre. I still think they pull this one out 21 - 7

It's going to be another barn burner. Whenever Cooper travels down to So Oldham I think the officials have a contest on how many bad calls they can make. It's not an excuse either, Cooper has won a ton down there lately, but man it's always one of the worst officiated games each and every time Cooper travels down south. Should be interesting to see how it goes this Friday Night.

AAARGH I don't know if I can sit through another poorly officiated game after watching the Cooper vs Conner last week. That was ridiculous.

I hate to tell you N. KY guys but S. Oldham was the real deal. I heard, that their fullback got hurt and that sent them into the tail spin. After week 4, I had the penciled in the final 4 in 5A BUT something happened....Better find out if the kid is back yet or not.

If So. Oldhams strong suit is there running game, I will take it. I'd rather face a good running team and take the chances with Cooper's D-Line than a passing team, not saying the passing defense is bad, but I'd rather go with the strength of the defense than anything else.

Now with that said, if So. Oldham (who I had picked to win the district pre-season) was only the real deal because of 1 player, a RB, then I feel bad for them going deep in the post season. You can't be a 1 trick pony and expect to be very successful most years. I mean they went down 20-0 to Conner before finally getting on the board and only beat Grant Co. by 12. I'd be worried about "The Real Deal" a little wouldn't you?

Best of luck to So. Oldham the rest of the way, they are always a great and fun team with a lot of class as well as their fans. Always enjoyed our games with them.

Must be an every game thing at S. Oldham. The Anderson Co./S. Oldham game was horribly officiated. This was against both teams. Seemed to be a slight nod to S. Oldham.

They do have a turf field.
