  1. Way to go Deuce – that’s the best result from this game, lol!! (Well that along with Hassan Hall – since I quit paying attention after game 4 I didn’t realize how promising he looks!! Glad the season is done.)
  2. I was talked into going to the Mega Cavern light display by the in-laws. It’s a fun Christmasy thing to do, especially when someone else is paying (lol). However, I had major anxiety the whole time.... I hate being underground, lol. Agree to go early and on a weekday; the lines are crazy from all directions. Never been to the Coney one although I’ve seen a lot of it this past week, simply driving down Kellogg Ave. It looks beautiful!
  3. I’m a die-hard Louisville cardinal fan only (football/basketball it's Cardinals only baby). At the pro level I LOVE watching and cheering for various teams and various players, leaning toward the Reds, Bengals, and Warriors. I will also admit to taking great pleasure in watching certain teams lose, lol. Like any other die-hard I get frustrated at times over UofL, but not to the point it ruins my day by any stretch, I’m much too cheery/positive for that, lol. At the end of the day there’s way more important things to take seriously.
  4. Hit up Kro-jay early, grab coffee, enjoy the excitement of this busy day!! Love this time of year.

  6. Yeah, it seemed they were running plays that he’s comfortable with to keep up his confidence. The analysts were saying it was a big shift for the entire offense (honestly, I’m generally unfamiliar with the Ravens normal offense). He did very well thanks to that team support. With that said though we kept yelling at the coaches to let him throw, lol. Will definitely be interesting to see how it goes for future games. I'll be tuning in!
  7. Congrats to Lamar Jackson on his first win as QB!! I thought he was great, hope he gets the start again next week. Per Kelley Dickey: NFL Week 11: Lamar Jackson (Ravens) started at QB and was 13-19 for 150 yards (long=23) with no TDs and 1 INT. He was sacked 2 times for 12 yards and had 27 carries for 117 yards (long=21). He had 1 fumble, which he recovered for a 3-yard loss, and 1 miscellaneous solo tackle.
  8. I thought it was a good call to go for it - just a terrible play call. Use Lamar’s speed dude and run out wide...
  9. Very nice first half for Lamar Jackson. Kept his head and no major mistakes.
  10. This made me LOL.... agree! Can’t believe we’re already approaching this game. This season flew by from my pov, which is usually not the case when your team stinks, lol.
  11. I recently discovered Classico’s “Spicy Tomato & Basil” sauce flavor – yum! It has officially replaced the Prego sauce that I’d been purchasing for years, lol.
  12. This is most interesting day for Louisville football since this time last year, lol. Go Cards, cheers to landing a great new coach!
  13. Nice to see former UofL and current Packer Jaire Alexander starting and playing well. Jaire recently made the Mid-Season All Rookie Team at Cornerback.
  14. **Spoiler, if anyone cares lol** Loved the Rick Grimes plot twist; glad he’s still alive. I think it will be fun to check out the next episodes which jumps into the future 6 years... and see what kind of bad-a Judith Grimes become.
  15. Our community had Halloween last night.... on Halloween, lol. We had a few less trick or treaters than normal due to the on again/off again rain, but still found it plenty festive. Although it doesn’t solve the weather controversy.... I would be fine moving trick or treating to the last Saturday before Halloween, adults have been celebrating it that way forever, lol, that’s when most Halloween house/bar parties are. I’m also fine leaving as is. Life would be grand if this is all we had to worry about.
  16. Nope, wouldn't try. I read recently that less than 40% of Americans have $1,000 to access for a true emergency. So probably 2+ of 3 people would have to take out a loan to even try.
  17. Held my breath checking in with the family yesterday. Just awful, prayers for the Ville.
  18. It is soooo frustrating – you stick up for your peeps only to have them let you down big time. The corruption in this world is turning me into the cynic that I never wanted to be, lol. Bring on Brohm.
  19. The last time we talked the lottery I remember someone from bgp said they would randomly pay for people’s groceries, dinner, gas, Christmas gifts etc. just while they were out and about. Another said go to schools and pay tuition, lunch money, etc. Always remembered that and would love to be able to do stuff like that. Glad nobody won last night bc I forgot to buy a ticket. lol
  20. Friday’s drawing is projected to be a record $970 million. I (along with many others) always jump on the lottery train when it gets big and in the news. I remember the billion dollar power ball from 2016 – that’s probably the last time I bought a ticket. I have to remember to buy a ticket today or tomorrow. Woo hoo!
