Impressive showing by Ryle. I was really impressed by their "O" line! Great blockers. Not big, but disciplined. CCH looked very disorganized at times. I wasn't really thrilled by their coaching. I guess having a former Bengal on staff is not so helpful.....

She's a good player, but she had a lackluster season. Not the spectacular player that Libby Leedom was a few years ago. Her club soccer mentality at the high school level hurt her this year.

Congrats to CC! Nice job. As far as the matter concerning the group of freshman and sophomores, I am friends with several parents of NDA players who have been complaining about that issue all year. Still a great win for CC.

I'm so tired of hearing about Ft. Thomas. Last time I checked, the world did not revolve around that part of Northern Ky. Beautiful city and a good school system but really?

Sorry to disappoint everyone, but I am very familiar with the situation. I also know many of the fans, coaches, and some of the players who witnessed the entire event. I will agree that I have taken Lawn Boy to task on a few things that I did not agree with at the time of my prior posts. However, at no time did I ever call him a cheat, disparage his reputation, or defamed his character. This isn't about me or Lawn Boy! This is about a disgruntled parent who crossed the line!

From an outsider looking in, Thunderbirds comments sounds awful defamatory. Why haven't the powers that be at BGPs taken action against his ridiculous comments. If I were "Chris," I'd seek legal advice.....

Softball fan 14, sorry if you don't like my opinion, but I'm an old school person where only the best of the best; cream of the crop, are recognized. Why don't the coaches just hand out participation or HM certificates to players when practice begins in February? I forgot, this is the generation of kids who get medals, ribbons and trophies regardless of their performance.

Congrats to all the girls! However, from an outsider looking in, should the number of players that get HM be limited? Are there any players left who didn't get some recognition?? It honestly reminds me of the first round of the KHSAA Football Playoffs where almost every school gets to go to the playoffs. Gee I remember the days when only the "Top" Players in the district, region or state actually received an award. It just doesn't happen in softball either....

Would the Pandas consider an even trade on principals with the big Kenton County High School on DIXIE Highway?? Just kidding........:banana:

Thanks! Not bad for a bunch of local players, seniors and college freshmen, that haven't played with each other for several years or at all. Really good talent at our local Northern Ky schools. More importantly, their all good, solid young ladies. I believe that they're playing another tournament later this month.

Nice job Beechwood! Enjoy the win! However I don't agree with your comment History about it being tougher than winning a football crown. The last time I checked, Beechwood has had a pretty tough time of it lately winning football championships!

Yeah, from what I've heard, public schools, especially Kenton County School District coaches, get paid very well! That's the way to go if getting paid is important!?
