I don't see a problem with it but some people are just too sensitive..

Completely disagree. You're talking about an event where thousands of Indians died.

An adult from the school should have known better than to allow this sign to stay up.

I agree. Not a good point in our History. Forced march 1000s died.

It almost seems like they didn't know what the trail of tears was.

Not sure which is worse.

Knowing and letting it stay up or not knowing.

I'm as politically incorrect as anyone and I think that banner was totally out of line.

So many adults don't know history. It doesn't surprise me.

I am with Clyde. The trail of tears mockery was over the line.

I don't have a problem with "Scalp the Indians" type signs. It is a play on the mascot. I would feel the same way about "Make the Pirates walk the plank" or "Gig the bullfrogs"

The stuff they don't teach you in school....This is honestly the first time I knew about this....

Someone at the school has to take charge of this. There are some other offensive pictures posted at the bottom of that news article.

Wow, really?

Just out of curiosity, what year did you graduate high school?

Just watch the History channel. Lol.

I was not at the game Friday night and I am really at a loss for words at this. This is a very big deal and it should have been screened and never put up.
