Hearing he will play in July with TBC Elite

Not at all. Just one of those guys who gets tired of inaccurate information being posted to a message board.

And the three reasons they wanted to move there were: 1.) Wanted to play for Jason Hinson 2.) Wanted to play with Austin Crawford 3.) Thought he could win a few more games at state tournament at Bracken. Give me a break, geez. And the other two who are rumored to be transferring there, I don't see their current school releasing them which is required by KHSAA especially since they're in the same district. Brackens team they had this summer will be the same team they have come December.

If Matt Wilson is one of those you can put that name to rest. He is NOT transferring to Bracken Co, and there have never been plans to do so.

This thread sounds like it came straight from the beauty shop hair salon lol. Lot's of gossip, but no evidence or facts to back it up.

I saw where TBC's spring record was something like 28-9? I believe their worst finish at a tournament was 2-2 in Knox Vegas, but other than that finished in the elite 8, final 4, or championship game of every tournament they played in. Does anyone have their summer schedule for July? I wouldn't mind going to check them out.

Brad Cox will do a phenomenal job as the next head coach of the Ladh Royals. He's had many of these girls in class either in middle school, or high school as he's taught at both. So that takes care of having to build up relationships with most of them. It doesn't matter about coaching boys, or girls. A coach is a coach, and Brad will be just fine running his own program. He will have more than enough support from the community, and will be a great role model for the young lady's.

Per Danny Weddle on twitter, Brad Cox is the new head coach of the Lady Royals. Had been the assistant coach to the boys team the last five seasons.

Just saw on their Twitter account that Brown University (Ivy League) called to inquire about some of their players today. Looking back through the tweets it seems as though Alabama Huntsville, University of Charleston, Bellarmine, and some other D2/D3 schools have been in contact with some of the players. I don't know if they have many D1 players, but they seem to have a nice combination of D2/D3, and maybe NAIA caliber players assembled.

TBC lost to Charlotte Court yesterday in the final four of 17U. Charlotte Court went on to beat Manimal in the championship game after. I thought the most interesting thing I took from their team twitter was that as a non "shoe" sponsored team they had good success at state in their four years together. They went elite 8, final 4 (lost to eventual champ KY Heat in OT), elite 8, final 4 (lost to eventual champ Charlotte Court) Not a bad four years together for that program.

Does this mean he can't play AAU anymore since he's committed? Or how does that work?

Charlotte Court 17U defeated Manimal for the state championship title in their age division.

Rumors swirling around that Bracken County's coach, Patrick Kelsch was asked to resign? Any truth to this? If so, WOW.

Some teams/coaches would rather be a sell out, than keep the integrity and respect of the program they've built up. Kudos to all those who do it the right way. No wonder the AAU scene gets a bad rap from most.

WKY Elite 17U, and KY Select 17U would be there I presume. This may be the deepest state tournament for the 2016 class that I can remember for their age division.

TBC went 4-2, losing to two Chicago based teams. I think they only had 8 of their players due to prom's/AP study session events. KY Select 17U won a tournament in Cincinnati I believe. Other than that I don't think anyone else played last weekend.

Family relocated last year in thoughts he would end up with Bullitt East Job. When he didn't he made the commute back and forth every day to coach at Russell County. Willies a heck of a coach, and an even better person. He will do well wherever he lands!

The well is far from dry at Mason County. May have players you haven't heard of before, but that's because they've waited for their turn behind a large senior class that is graduating. Mason will have more than enough talent to win the district, and challenge in the region.

I'm just going to throw this out there.... But how can a player at Mason Co already not like Biggs? He hasn't coached them yet. They don't know him. If this is truly the case these kids are listening to the wrong people.

What'd ya do to make em mad Coach Q? Lol. My buddy who is an assistant coach said they went 2-1 at the Pitt Jam Fest. Beat Charlotte Impact (NC) first game, and Nova Cavaliers (VA) second game on Saturday. Lost to eventual champion West Virgina Wildcats in the elite 8 by 10 or 12 on Sunday morning.

Isn't he playing for hoop dreams 17U? How exactly does that work in the scheme of AAU? Especially when he was already committed to a college.
