I think Brohm has 2 more years at WKU then he moves on to bigger and better things.

Putting a kid in hurt is really really poor decision making by the coach...That being said and in all seriousness was he the one that tried to stop the clock by faking a injury? I thought it was a lineman,but that's the only thing I saw that could of caused getting tossed out

Well at the end of the day, next Friday Scott is playing and Ashland is paying admission to watch someone else play...

Why did he play at the end of the game then?

The majority of those yards was off one run. I don't think they made many adjustments. The big difference this year to the last few years is in the past Scott would implode when down by 3 td's. This year they have confidence. This senior class is the first of the "new era" so to speak. So really I think the adjustment was more psychological then anything else ... They never panicked.

5 hours ago Scott didn't stand a chance.. Now they were handed the game... Ashland got outplayed. Scott made some bad plays too but we're able to overcome them. They didnt quit when they were down.... Playing Baker hurt was downright stupid... and the fake injury at the end of the game to stop the clock was bush league at best.

i have to wonder about the mystery leg cramp that hit the Ashland lineman as the final seconds ticked off the clock.

I don't see either team playing starters to much. Realistically this game is pointless for both sides. I hate to see kids get hurt going into playoffs..

I say bench him. They can win without him. They have Rice leading the line on both sides of the ball. No need to risk re-injury. However I agree no need to drag that on bgp.

Last year we would of been 4 pages deep already.

Parents who trash kids in the stands for mistakes because their little Johnny is better. Also parents who walk right behind the stands to smoke. Last year it caused my son to have a minor asthma attack.(notice this a lot in southern KY) Oh and the idiots that came over to the visitor side last year and were talking trash to the visiting team players on the sidelines... Now as the grandson of the former Dean of music at Morehead and a member of the band conductors hall of fame and writer of the Clemson fight song... I love checking out the band!! Withrow high school in Cincinnati being my favorite.

It's Dixies game to lose

I couldn't tell you where. But I remember as a kid watching a game somewhere in Eastern KY with my grandpa.I think it was around Hazard but not in Hazard? I remember it being surrounded by woods and a huge coal mine. I I recall thinking it was such an amazing stadium. remember my grandpa pointing to the mine and telling me most of the kids on the field will be working in that mine next year. Then he told me how once in a while one will be good enough to play in college but they were rare. I asked him how he got out of the mine. He looked at me and said... Pearl Harbor.

Why risk injury to your first team in your last game before playoffs and it has no impact on your playoff seeding?

I highly doubt SK or Scott will play much of their first team going into playoffs. I wouldn't use that as a gauge as to whether or not Scott could beat Highlands. Scotts only loss was one in which they were missing some key defensive players. Who wins between Scott and Highlands? Who Knows!!
