Like I said several seasons. If it goes beyond 5-6 season then sure. I myself can't think that far... but I know that within the last couple of season FT Highlands has lost to Cincy Elder a couple of time and St. X has lost to Cincy Moeller and Moeller has beaten Trinity along the way.... Hey good luck to Scott Co, this is their thread, not jacking it. Just wondering when the last successful KY team to beat a Cincy GCL.

Man that's tough. I cant' remember the las time a KY team beat a Cincy GCL. Not even the Kentucky powerhouses FT Highlands, Saint X or Trininty has failed in recent years.

Does the state of KY have enough private schools to be separated from public schools comes tournament time? Are they big enough to compete with each other? ie Saint X vs Lex Christian or Trinity vs DeSales?

I don't claim to be a scholar or smart, but I'll take a stab at it. Either Garrard County, Woodford County and I'll even throw in Boyle County in there.

Sorry to be the burden of bad news, but EKU has had field turf for about 2, maybe 3 seasons now. And yeah it is centally located compare to WKU or any other venues out there. Unless we want to play at Georgetown College or other smaller sites.

Where do see it being centrally?

In my opinion, Eastern Kentucky U would have been a better venue. It's centrally located, plenty of hotels and eating places in the area. Only 20 minutes from Lexington, where there are more hotels and eatery location. The stadium/ Roy Kidd has plenty of seat to hold big crowd.

You mean fundraising fees? All program implements that? Sell media ads, candy, lift- a -thon, gift cards etc. And if a player(s) do not sell the maximum limit, then they are responsible to pay the difference. Of course some programs always have that SUPERSTAR player(s) and their parents don't think they have to sell anything.

Well from what LEX is saying on the other topic, Coach Letton is the new DC at Bourbon Co. and looks like he will be taking Sam with him. If thats the case... Hatton is going to have to be the man at WR. Good luck to him and the Knights. Looking for a great season.

So lets compare him to Chester/ Lafayette. About the same height, same body type, basketball players, but yet Chester only managed to get to EKU and Chester's numbers were huge. This kid has SEC, ACC, Big 10 etc. Again Im not bashing him as a player or his character, Im concern on who told or how RAM obtain the info that these school are interested in him.

Who do we see Lex Cath losing to? Boyle Co. is a toss up, Bowling Green is a toss up as well because of all the athletes they lost to graduation. Lex Cath might get complaisant and get clipped by a lower tier team...

This upcoming season? Why not elaborate Mr. Lex? Sounds like you might have an inside scoop.

Not bashing or hating on this kid, but those are SEC, ACC school that were mentioned. And for him to have only those receptions and yardage? Come on! Im sure and hope he has a break out season. Lex Cath needs him to step with all the graduates they lost at WR.

Purples better get another championship season cause the following year will be tough. FT Highlands and Cov Cath will be busting through that 5A door like gangbusters.....

Watching from last season, those boys are huge and definitely have the potential to play on the next level. Not to mention I'm sure they are bigger and stronger for the upcoming season. Wondering who would fill in one of the O-Line/ guard since M. Brown graduated.

That would make sence since Coach lives out that way.... but then again the current head coach at Bourbon Co. is very successful so I cant see him being shipped out. I really think Coach Letton will take some time off, maybe teach to get his tenure for retirement system and just enjoy watching Sam finish out his high school career.

Perhaps Coach Letton does not want to coach right now and just want to watch and enjoy Sam play his last 2 season at Lex Cath. Just saying

I did not make it to the spring game. Can anyone tell me how the O-line and D- line do? I remember last season that was the issue because they did not have enough bodies to rotate. And from what I heard this season, they have plenty and healthy linemen to rotate. Praying that no major casualty from the spring game and hope eveyone came out not too banged up. Special season coming up for Lex Cath. I truely believe they can make some noise, beside the 3 straight year in the state semi's. Of coure FT Highlands will consistanly will have a special ball club and a BIG task for anyone in the 4A.

Wow sounds like they have a lot of experience O/linemen back. Can't wait to see them together as a group.

I would thing at this point in the spring and school season. If Coach Letton has not landed a head coaching job by now, then we know that Sam will play his junior year at Lex Cath. Next season is a different story. Coach Letton might find the job and take Sam with him. Hope not
