Beside that BEAST Bailey on the OL, who do they have in return for this season that will impact or facilitate Bailey? I know they had a handful of rotating OL/ DL. From what I heard, they have are deeper on both side of the line this season.

How about Lex Cath's Jalen Jones? He is class of 2016 right? I understand he did not play during his soph year. Had an awesome frosh season, but I think he might have a break out jr season.

He was the one doing all PAT's last season right? Yeah that is a lost for the receivers. Besides that JJ kid, how about that Hickey kid? Heard he has potential as well. So if I'm counting my eggs correctly, Lex Cath has Letton, JJ, Hickey, Thompson twins as receivers. Anyone I miss or up and coming from the frosh/ JV team?

The best huh? Have you forgot that that several teams in that class have won multiple state championships? Lou Central, Bell Co, Belfry and Lex Cath. Just because you have Coach Smith back does not guarantee your program anything. Remember, you went from 4A back to 3A due to lack of enrollment, and for a powerhouse like Boyle Co, losing student body also means losing some quality athletes. Don't count your eggs yet. You still have to deal with Lex Cath in your upcoming 3A district. Past that then all the other poewrshouse of 3A.

True! So my guess is with a call name " Knights " You have some insights within the program and you can research that and find out who is that kid. LOL. Also that lineman at LT tackle has some size and skills. Where did he come from? I can't remember watching him last season. He is a good 6'4 250 at least. Oh BTW I meant to say Mitchell's ball hawking and his aggressiveness, he will fit better at safety.

So your saying that LC should fold their tents and should not even show up? What if you replace Lex Cath and put in Boyle Co. as coming in second, would their patch be easier? What im saying is that each team in that district ( Not sure about FT Campbell ) has won multiple state championships, Including 2 for Lex Cath and several state semi- final appearance. So to me that is battle tested. Don't get me wrong, Im not offended, but just wanted to know why you would mention such a statement knowing all teams have won several championships.

Being a residence in the neighborhood of LC, I have come to love and follow their program. I do agree that their defense will be just fine and have a lot of depth. Couch, Mithell, Rowady all return and the depth of the rotating D-line will be outstanding. I did watch a little of spring practice on Tuesday and saw that Mitchell was not in pads but observed a #43 jersey that was filling his position. I was impress with his skills. I might have to look at last years roster to see who that kid is. I do believe with his quickness and his ball hawking skills. Mitchell might move back to safety.

Hey Knight, do you have any idea on who they are scrimmage prior to the start of the season? Also did you watch their 1st spring practice? If so how did they look? I know it's early and its the first practice and a lot of their players are playing baseball and/ or lacross.

I hope they have a nice season as well. If I believe all the talk and the word is that come 2015, they will be in 3A and in the same district as Lexington Catholic and Boyle Co.... WOW thats for them in that 4 yr spand.

Definitely the top linemen in the city. There are other top linemen here in Lexington, but are not committed to football camps, workouts etc. Some are doing track I'll give them that. Some are wanna be baseball players. Some are even doing basketball ( What ? ). Get you lineman butt in the weight room and lift. Go to camp and get fundamentaly sound.

With all do respect, Coach Letton does want to come back to the public school system, but I really doubt that he would take a Fayette County public school coaching job. No stability, no support from school administration and lack of booster participation. Got to remember where he came from. 11 yrs at LC and he had tons of booster support and was in charge with most of LC programs, ie youth and middle school football program, Bluegrass Bowl, 7 on 7 tourney, football camps etc. With the exception to Henry Clay's head man, Fayette County schools has a rotating turn style of coaches.

E-Town or Sacred Heart vs. Butler in the championship game.

For sure, but then again Sacre Heart has E-Town and Anderson County in the lower half of the bracket.

Not sure who can handle Louisville Butler, but if there is a team out there....Lafayette is the closest ones

If they are lucky enough to get past Glasgow, Louisville Butler is a TOUGH 2nd round draw. But then again, that is why they play on the court, not on paper.

That junior and senior to be class will be outstanding in the next few years. Not to mentioned that sophomore to be class, they have a handful of athletes from what I observed. Really excited to see them together during Spring Ball 4-14 to 5-2.

E-Town or Anderson County IMO will hoist the banner.

Never attacked his act or character. Then why not show and received his POY award? I mean that is big deal/ award. And as far as not knowing J. Davis, well you are correct as far as not knowing him personally. I do know that he is a scapa kid, had been in the program since 7th grades. I did see him get in the face of a teamate cause he wanted to ball to go through him first. That incident caused his extra curricular activity with some parents. Regardless season is over. College choice should be interesting.

Sounds like that they were sore loser to not show up to pick up their awards.

A lot of speed and quickness on that Thompson kid. LC might keep him at kick returner, slot reciever or like you said at H.

It's one of the Drew boys ( first name ) I mentioned. Just not sure which of the 3. I think the Saint X Drew has more of a LB body than an O-D line.
