I do not understand why so many get hung up on D1 versus D2, many seem to forget that part of the equation is what the student/athlete sees as the best fit for them. I think your last sentence is way off base. For someone who says they are close to the Cooper program, I do not get your comment, I could also see it as a jab at Sully... IMO, not a real good thing to be saying.

The comments about attending Pikeville were not directed toward Jake Walter.

@theguru I know the exact play that you are saying caused "said Dad" to get a little upset. I am not sure where you were sitting, I was close enough to hear "Dad" chirping at the ref closest to him, I think he was more humored by his comments in general... more so, than the call itself. I agree with your assessment of the Refs from tonight, they definitely let them play but I thought they were consistent.

Cooper up 40-26 at the half. Very close game early on, teams traded baskets for a large portion of the first half, I think they were last tied at 21. Cooper turned up the pressure and finished the half on a big run. Kunk has 17.

Wow, Cov Cath gets embarrassed by Dunbar in CJs first game back... Cooper beat Dunbar earlier in the season without Sean McNeil or Chris McNeil who was injured early on in the game. Cooper looks to be the better team right now.

Finrock did not play, I get that he makes the Birds better. The one thing I am certain of... We will never know if he would have made enough of a difference to change the outcome of tonight's game.

It's not like Lloyd won by a couple of baskets, the score also makes it look like it was a convincing win. I am also of the belief that this is a team sport, if you are shorthanded, others need to step up. A perfect example of this has been on display at CCH and Cooper this season.
