Nope. In my opinion, the elbow to the head makes me think flagrant, rather than intentional.

I am not sure I would call it a cheap shot, to me it looked more like a clumsy attempt at a hard foul. I saw a video, and pictures from multiple angles, definitely looks like it should have been called a flagrant foul.

I get focusing on your "better" sport, what I don't get is why you wouldn't make this decision before you committed to another sport.

I think this is a good rule and I am glad to see schools enforce it. As for the size of NCC... in this scenario... I do not understand how the size of the school matters.

Agree on the 3s from Finfrock, I did not see them either. I thought he finished with 16, the box score above shows him with 18, this could also explain why the individual scores above add up to 47.... and not 45. I also thought that Posey seemed flustered, it seems like Listerman sat him for a bit, maybe just to give him time to regroup. The big boy (Wasser), has been playing well lately, I think in this game he had 8 points and 8 boards. I also feel that he played Finfrock to a draw and did a good job of limiting his chances.

I'm not saying it is, or isn't. If a freshman is clearly able, and the coaching staff believes they are also deserving, of playing JV and/or Varsity.... I am saying that I don't care when/where this is decided.

Just because it was the first week of practice doesn't mean it was not earned during that week. You also seem to have certain parameters, and guidelines, of when it is OK (or not OK) to evaluate a kid and then make a decision to move them up. If you have someone who is clearly able to perform at a higher level; who cares if this determination is made after one practice, one week, or one month.... or even when they are playing on another team.

How do you know it was automatic, and not earned?

Jags seemed a little out of sorts at times, the defense was the one thing that was on point. They had very balanced scoring in this one, I'm guessing there were a handful of players with 8-12 points. Finrock led the Birds, believe he finished with 16. I think Huber was about the only other player that helped offensively, probably had 8-10 points. I noticed that Brent Angel was on the bench but not dressed. If he is able to get on the court, he could provide some needed size, and help.

Based on your earlier comments, I'm guessing Nowak had an impact on the defensive end. Love that kids hustle, really miss seeing him on the pitch.

Final, 55-45

I think a 10-0 run to start the 4th should do it, Cooper now up 19. Kunkel has also been limited because of foul trouble, doubt he played more than 5 minutes in the first half. I think Finnrock has 16 but he looks exhausted and was just taken out, not many scoring options besides him.
