Just for arguments sake... Franklin County has beaten SK, Holmes and Cooper this season... many would say that these were the 3 best teams in NKY this season. So yes, the Lady Flyers are a good team and were better than each of these 3 on the night they played.

Memorial Coliseum is not too small, it is actually quite a bit larger than EKU, I believe at least another 3K seats. IMO, I think either place would be a good choice.

I'm not sure you have proven your point. Are you saying a team can't be defensive minded and still average over 60 points a game? I am not sure what a team averages during the season matters all that much when it comes tournament time. For the most part, games are played at a much more deliberate pace and therefore defense tends to become a bigger factor IMO. Further to my point, in the Regional, I believe that both Cooper and CCH scored almost 15 points below their season average and there was only one team in the tournament that scored more than 60 points in a single game.

The Sweet 16 will have different officials than you are accustomed to seeing, it is also played on the larger floor. I think getting a few games under your belt at Regionals is a good thing.

Yes, they have used the 1-3-1 this season, last night was the first time I remember seeing it used in a while though.

I agree with your comments, and that he received plenty of touches, I think it was well above the amount he normally gets in a game. To me, the question is what came out of those touches. As mentioned, he had some success in attacking the basket early in the game, as the game wore on this was not the case. There were several times he received the entry pass within 5 feet of the basket, only to immediately turn and pass out to the perimeter, he was not looking for a shot. Whether this was by design, or his own doing, it was something the coaches did not feel a need to change. I'm not sure why they didn't but I definitely don't feel this is something you can put on Walter.

A little harsh @PistolPete4, this is a teenager you are bashing. I did not see any of the games you reference but I find it hard to believe that one player could cost a team as much as you claim. It is a team sport and very unfair of you to put this on him.

Nice list of players, congrats to all!!! @Lawnboy13... Thank you for all you do every year to provide updates at so many games throughout the season. I know that you put in countless hours in doing so, I also feel that you truly put your heart into what you do.... and I thank you for that.
