Excellent game by the Jags. Really took over in the 2nd half and pushed the lead to as much as 26 before taking the starters out with about 3 mins to go.

When this team shares the basketball like they did tonite and shoots lights out to go along with the core of this team's tough defense they will tough to beat down the stretch.

23-4 for the 1st season for the Jags. The record goes to 0-0 as district tourney play begins next week. All eyes on Boone Co. next Wednesday.

Can make a real case for Ohmer being NKY player of the year . He was by far the best player on the floor ! Congrats he is a one man show and almost kept Scott in the game against my Jags .

Ohmer was just named 10th Region POY. Is there an actual award for NKy POY? With teams in both 8th, 9th, and 10th and no meaningful NKy sports coverage by Enquirer, is an award suggested in existence? If so, who and what criteria is used for the final decision? Coaches, AP members, or???????????

Coaches vote on poy for the 9th region this morning at their meeting. The award CVH won was something different than what will be voted on today.

Jake Ohmer is a great player and very tough to defend as he can create his own shot and gets to the free throw line a lot and last night was no different as he shot 13 FTs. However, I won't say he was "by far" the best player on the floor. Sean McNeil and Adam Kunkel's games were just as good if not better as they did it on both ends of the floor and that's not taking anything away from Ohmer one bit.

Cooper's game last night was clicking on ALL cylinders and just because another player scores the most points doesn't make that player "by far" the best player on the court. Jake had 31 but the next closest player had 10 and at no point did I see him keep Scott in the game in the 2nd half as Cooper had too many weapons pushing the lead to as many as 26 with 3 players in double figures. Would love to see the total number of assists for the Jaguars.

In the end it really doesn't matter as the Jags got the "W" which is what they came to do so it's "on to the next one".

Congrats to the Jags on an outstanding regular season. Best wishes as they strive to reach their post-season goals. So much fun to watch - great defense, balanced scoring, total team approach, outstanding coach - Sully and young men got it going on.

Sully is awesome ! Great role model for the boys .

Quarter scores

C-15-14-30-13=72

S-13-11-09-25=58

Big 3rd quarters are a Cooper signature. Sullivan does a great job making adjustments and focusing his team at half time, and the players respond with great intensity at both ends of the court.

Scoring 30 and allowing 9 in an 8 minute quarter - wow...

Prob best quarter I have seen all year . No one better than Sully coming out of a half . Clear favorite to win the 9th !

Contender yes, favorite no. Until someone knocks off the reigning champs I don't see the Jags being the clear favorite. Are they playing very well right now, yes, but anyone, Cooper, Dixie, etc., beating CCH will have to play an superb game. Are the beatable, absolutely. Is CCH respected, yes, but the Jags certainly have No Fear. But, as the saying goes, "To be the Man you have to beat the Man".....

And right now I am sure Coach Sully has his team focused on the Boone Co. Rebels and No One else.

Agree ! I believe the reigning Champs however is New Cath . I'm confident The Jags will take them down :
