Why shouldn't assistants get to vote? They are paid members to the association just like the head coaches. I personally know some assistants that take their votes seriously.

Sounds like a little jealousy. Any coach has a little bit of ego; it's what makes them so good. I have known Jason for a long time, both on and off the court. He is a great friend and I don't understand the cheap shot.

I am completely sure that Holland was forced out, I wouldn't get too tired of something until I knew the whole story.

I don't see the problem with missing a day to attend the state tournament. I know some schools grant an excused absence for students to attend the State Fair, so why not the Sweet 16? Me, my father, and my children always attend the first day of the sweet 16. This year my daughter is missing a test but the teacher said she could make it up. It has not hurt either one of my children's education to miss one day for the tournament. This is something that all of us look forward to each year.

That's why I included the question mark on Marshall. Coach Jackson has still taken a different school from two different regions though. Heck of a coach.
