McCollum played great tonight. Was aggressive early and set the tone. Scoring inside and out.

Josiah Robbins had 19 points and 8 rebounds for Boyle County.

Colton Elkins had 8 points, 16 rebounds and 5 blocks.

Boyle County shot 34%.

Garrard County shot 37%.

I was pretty impressed with McCollum the other night against Lincoln. He attacks with reckless abandon. Crutchfield as well.

Where is the district at this season? Are the matchups determined yet?

District is at Lincoln. Lincoln will play Garrard and Boyle will play Danville.

Tough stretch for Boyle County. They started the season 13-2 and have lost 6 of their last 7. Hopefully they can get it figured out in the next week.

Saturday at LCA. Tuesday at Wayne County. Friday home against Lafayette.

I just want to see us keep competing and hopefully finding a way to put the ball in the basket consistently. No one will win many games shooting 34% or less. Gotta score the ball, fix the mental mistakes and reduce the turnovers. Hopefully they can gain some kind of momentum over the next week.

Tough week coming up for boyle sounds like.

Good win for Garrard. Going to make for a very interesting Dist. Tournament.

Did the 8th grader from Boyle get in?

Did the 8th grader from Boyle get in?

No. Not tonight. Will Bramel got some time tonight and he did very well with his time. I look forward to seeing Reese Smith on the court but it was good to see Will Bramel on the court doing his thing tonight.

Bramel had 6 points on 2/2 from the floor, 2/2 from the free throw line along with 2 rebounds and a blocked shot. He played a large part in helping Boyle County reduce a 27-18 deficit to a 31-28 deficit. He looked good out there.
