Good a Luck to Coach Holland!

This is a curious and potentially excellent selection. Was assistant coach Kevin Radford, formerly head coach at Western Hills, not in the running? It will be interesting how long he stays coaching girls. I don't really know Coach Holland very well, but it he is obviously a knowledgeable, successful and driven coach - but with boys - in the past. Hopefully, he will be content and successful in continuing the Lady Rockets' resurgence begun by Coach Sowers. Yet for some reason I'll not be surprised if he returns to the boys' sidelines fairly soon.

He might be around the girls game for awhile. I believe his daughter plays ball and is in middle school.

I thought he was happy staying at Montgomery and not coaching?

The Sentinel-News said his daughter was entering 8th grade this year and that played a part in his decision to become a girls coach.

Bingo

This is a surprise, I guess

Who would be happy in the mess that is Montgomery County? Getting out of Montgomery is the best thing for Jason and his family!

Because I am pretty sure on the release when he was terminated of resigned, it said that he was content staying in the Montgomery system and watching his daughter play. I really don't think nobody believed that.

It probably did say that. Sometimes you have to eat your words to keep the powers that be happy.
