Best coach I ever had ended up coaching girls in high school. I asked him why he went to girls. He said he would never coach boys again. That girls listened and believed more than the guys. They were much more coachable in his opinion. Of course this was also 25 or 30 years ago.

DC, your ol' coach got it right. He's a wise fellow. Once a guy's ego is tamed, he can then figure this out ... the question is this: Has Coach Holland truly reached this point yet in his career?

I'm very happy for Jason and his family. Hopefully he enjoys this adventure and whatever he chooses in the future. I'm just glad he is away from that last mess he was in. He will do well wherever he coaches.
