It's very difficult to get into 'football" shape in such a short period of time. It will be interesting to see how much he is actually used, especially for just a maximum potential of 4 games. Silly it took this long, feel bad for the kid.

I believe Trinity is 2-5 vs Male during the Wolford era, just beat the Bulldogs this season & in the playoffs 2014, but's who's counting?! :thumb: lol

A win by X here would surprise me after having seen both teams play, not saying it's impossible but I just think Male has too much speed & talent for the Tigers. Just don't see how X's db's are going to be able to stop Male's passing attack, Trinity barely slowed it down. Male - 35 X - 21

This game definitely needs to be moved up in the season, used to always be the 5th game and this year it was game 7? This has caused the weather to be dicey the last several years & definitely impacting the crowd.

Wow, what a game. Male definitely exploited our secondary, wr's running wide open all over the place in the first half, Rocks tightened it up in the second half. Turnovers definitely killed the Rocks as well, turned it over 3X in the first half, not good. So to me the Rocks can get more seperation in the playoffs if they shore up the secondary & eliminate the turnovers, will it happen? Who knows but we'll definitely see a rematch, fun game to watch! Way to go Rocks!!

Side note to that play is we actually lined up to go for 2 but someone saw something they didn't like and we called timeout and sent the extra point team out, what a bizarre ending to a great game.

It's a new year & this year I just think the Rocks have too much for the Bulldogs. Male does do a great job spreading you out and getting the ball to their playmakers in open space so I do think they'll put a few scores up. Rocks 42 Male 17

Great game, close throughout in front of a packed house, really enjoyed this one!! Spencer Blackburn would be a nightmare as an option qb, kid has some serious wheels!! Just a hunch but this might be the most competitive game we see w/ T all year. Great Win, Go Rocks!!

I'm not sure what to expect from the Rocks here. Although we have a lot of upper classmen and talent we just don't have a lot of guys with real varsity game experience under their belts, last years senior class was loaded with varsity game experience. On the flip side Ensworth has a lot experience returning from last year. Hoping we pull out the W, but don't be surprised if it takes a little time for this team to gel, especially with the early tough schedule.

The Trinity St X playoff turnout is always so low I still say you could have it at either schools campus, would make it a lot more exciting as well, that argument has been made a thousand times already though.... :idunno:

Did Male play against Simon Kenton? Just saying if all of the coaches(Esp JC coaches) in KY actually voted for the best players they've seen maybe we'd have a more accurate All State team, that's all. Most of the states coaches didn't bother to cast a vote according to Jason Frakes, that's a shame.

Or it shows a coach that actually voted for the best players he's SEEN which says more than most of the coaches, especially the Jefferson County coaches, kudos to Coach Wolfe for Voting!! Now go gripe at all of the other no show coaches for not bothering to cast their vote, good grief.

This is just for fun but I'd take Male Coach Wolfe's All State team plus any guys he wants to replace on there w/ his players(Zach Smith for sure who easily is one of the best players in the state, shocked he wasn't 1st team) & spot the CJ team 14 points, all day long! Lol.... Any takers?!
