Trinity travels south to Tennessee to take on traditional power Ensworth. Last season Trinity won 45-0. This season Trinity will be replacing 7 starters on offense. What can we expect from Trinity this week?

Shamrocks come home 1-0.

Ensworth is looking for revenge after the beating they left Louisville with last year. However this isn't the year.

Trinity faces Brentwood Academy at home with a 38-20 W belt notch over the Tigers.

I see Trinity winning by three scores. The QB has played this position since he arrived. The wide-outs are great hands guys and there is enough speed to spread defenses thin. The o-line has nice size and will get better each week. The running game will get better with three excellent players seeing most of the action. The defensive front is athletic as are the linebackers. The DBs are playing a lot of man-to-man and have the speed to do it. McCracken is talented. The Rocks played very well. I look for a similar effort this week versus Ensworth.

Will this game be streamed online? If so, where? Thanks.

Yes. Ensworth streams all their games. I can't remember the site name, but you can go to Ensworths website and navigate to it. It's students doing the commentary, but they aren't Homer's. I watched two years ago when the Rocks were there.

I'm not sure what to expect from the Rocks here. Although we have a lot of upper classmen and talent we just don't have a lot of guys with real varsity game experience under their belts, last years senior class was loaded with varsity game experience. On the flip side Ensworth has a lot experience returning from last year. Hoping we pull out the W, but don't be surprised if it takes a little time for this team to gel, especially with the early tough schedule.

Very good point. I think the team will be solid pretty much everywhere but with no superstars.....but it's a long season---we'll see.

I disagree. As a jv squad these guys played some tough competition. They know the system and are ready to play at the varsity level. This is going to be a high powered offense and stout defense. I expect big things this season.

This team should remind most Shamrock fans of the 2014 State Champions. Previous season, most of the starters finished with an undefeated JV schedule. The team was loaded with a bunch of JV experience against a crazy schedule including Colerain, Moeller, Cathedral, etc - when they made the move to Varsity, that bunch finished at .500 but managed to put together a memorable State Championship run.

Agree with ShamrockChamps, reasonable expectations early in the year but I do believe this team is worthy of the pre-season #1 ranking. This is a very talented group.

Ensworth will be much improved and they too have a lot of talented kids. Hope someone can share an update on the kid from Ensworth going to UL. He looks like a talented player.

Maryville Tn scrimmaged Ensworth a few weeks ago and I thought they were a solid team with some very good skilled players. Just didn't have a lot of numbers for backup. The CB going to UofL is a lock down corner who has nice height, he's physical and can open up and recover out of the back peddle really well.
