Has anyone realized that Dunbar has only played one game on their home floor?

I read your post, I'm not coming at you sideways wildcat. I'm just sharing a little input. And I agree with your last two statements whole heartedly.

Hollingsworth (8-15) Williams (7-14) Looks even to me! In order for Dunbar to win they need both Williams and Hollingsworth to take and make shots.

I was front row for this classic battle. Jaron Brown could not be stopped that night. Rick Pitino was present and ended up offering Brown a scholarship. He accepted. Unfortunately Pitino ended up leaving for the pros. Brown ended up at Maine Central then Pittsburgh where he had a solid college career under Ben Howland. Kenny Gregory had one of the most memorable dunks I've ever seen in a high school game.

I was wondering the same thing until I saw the following tweet from Evan Daniels.. It amazes me that a declining event like the King of the Bluegrass would deny players the opportunity to be seen by denying national media.

And I forgot to mention he is the only kid on any of the lists that plays all 5 positions. He is a combo guard playing power forward or center sometimes. Teams better be glad dunbar doesn't have a true big. Then Darius would be able to play his proper position. That would really be scary!

I refuse to believe that there's 5 players in the 11th region better than Darius Williams. The 5 kids listed in front of him don't even believe that. As far as him not attacking enough, how can he attack when he's double and triple teamed EVERYTIME he touches the ball. When he does attack he has 2 to 3 defenders hanging all over him and doesn't get a call. Game after game he gets hammered when going to the basket. Every coach screams "GET DARIUS!" Why? Because they know what he's capable of doing. People say he doesn't facilitate enough but how can he facilitate when he's smothered by everyone else's man and the bench. He's been boxed and chased since the 6th grade. Have you ever seen Darius's arms after a game? The kid looks like he's been cat scratched. Go back and look at the Madison Central and Doss games if you wanna see him facilitate though. He's never been 0-20! As a matter of fact, out of 30+ games last year he took 20 plus shot attempts in only 5 or 6 games. One of those games he was 14-21 with 40 points. How many of those 5 listed in front of him are capable of that? Don't worry I'll wait? Not to mention he shot 50% from the field and 40% from long range last season. He can't guard? Everyone I've seen him guard doesn't keep the ball in their hands long. They're awfully quick to give it up. I've never seen anyone of the 5 listed in front of him stop anyone. I can go on all day but I won't. I'll leave you with this. People should start reading the entire book instead of judging it off of one chapter. Darius has the total package. This is the year you'll see him put it all together! Mooremiller said it best, there's not coach in the state that wouldn't start him on they're team. I'm really look forward to this season though! The 11th will be a battle zone!

Terrible call! Big games from David Sloan and Brandon Berry. Berry played big inside and out while Sloan controlled the pace. He's an outstanding ball handler and couldn't be stopped. TC went down 10 when Sloan went to the bench. He comes back in 10-0 run. Simmons is a player who is relentless. Brady Norman also stepped up big for Henderson County. It was an exciting game to watch!

3. Darius Williams - Nice player, but a volume scorer. Takes 15 shots to score 20 points. He gets a lot of attention for putting up big numbers but would be better for his team and his recruiting if he shared the ball more. (Per HD Coach Q) I'm not gonna shred you Coach Q but take a look at the numbers. Mason Co. (9/14 31pts 64%) LCA (9/18 26pts 50%) St. X (7/10 18pts 70%) Lou. Central (10/18 20pts 50%) Ashland (11/15 28pts 73%) Boyd Co. (9/20 29pts 45%) Rowan Co. (8/12 22pts 66%) Dixie Heights (2/11 12pts 18%) Madison Cent. (10/13 31pts 76%) LCA (6/9 20pts 66%) Montgomery Co. (11/21 30pts 52%) Now as far as sharing the ball Darius has been doing that and his assists numbers are steadily rising. Darius has also been playing pretty good defense and has been crashing the boards averaging just over 6 rebounds per game. His all around game has been on display this season. In all fairness to Williams he's doing what his coach asks of him. Honestly I don't care who the best player is I just love to watch the kids in the 11th go at it.

Lol! Diablo is a nice player. Mid range game, consistent from 3, nice handle and good vision. Strong for his age. We'll be hearing his name a lot in the future. His father (Prince Stewart) played at UTEP.
