Traditional Bank Holiday Classic roll call

Who's going to be taking in the games for this tournament at Lexington Catholic?

I'm meeting the @BigVMan23 tomorrow for the 1st game, and going to stay for the entire Saturday schedule.

I've been going to this since it was the Pepsi Classic. Probably make it on Sunday or Tuesday. One of the best games I've ever seen Lexington Catholic over Maine Central Institute (who was absolutely loaded). Another great memory watching Vincent Yarbrough and the Cleveland, TN team run their mouth prior to playing Highlands. Highlands proceeded to dismantle them (Derek Smith and Jared Lorenzen were a great duo). Kenny Gregory and Elton Brand were the best offensive performers I've seen. Casey Sanders had the best defensive performance. I'll also never forget Marquis Estill throwing a lob from the free throw line to Kenneal Jenkins who caught it as he was jumping over Doug Dezarn from Clay Co (that was a fun team to watch Chuckie Fritz and Brandon Campbell (I think were their names) Lights out shooters. A couple of interesting notes Nathan Popp playing for Shelby Co. one year and Lexington Catholic the next and Ben Bowling playing for Perry Central and then Westminster Academy the year after was weird. Another great moment was watching the fans from Mason Co. destroy Henry Clay all game and at the very end Henry Clay hit a buzzer beater to win shut them up really quickly. Derek Springate single handedly carrying Boyle Co., I think his name was Shawn Graham leading Fleming Co. Many other great memories.

Sorry for the trip down memory lane. Great tourney.

Kenny Gregory (Columbus, OH) vs. Jaron Brown (Bryan Station) in the old gym in ~96 was one of the best man to man matchups I've ever seen. I think Brown went for 40 & 12 that night and Station won. Place was packed and electric. I know the new gym is great, but I always preferred the atmosphere in the old one.

Those Maine Central Institute teams with Max Good stomping his foot were awesome to watch.

I will be there around 2:45 tomorrow to watch Lawrence Co. and NCC.

I will ber there around 5:00 will watch knott co central game and the cordia game after that.

I will be there for The Holy Cross game Sunday

The Boyle/Cov Catholic game was one of my favorites from last year. It was awesome and fun with the Louisville and UK game playing on the big screens.

Will be there for most of the games

I was front row for this classic battle. Jaron Brown could not be stopped that night. Rick Pitino was present and ended up offering Brown a scholarship. He accepted. Unfortunately Pitino ended up leaving for the pros. Brown ended up at Maine Central then Pittsburgh where he had a solid college career under Ben Howland. Kenny Gregory had one of the most memorable dunks I've ever seen in a high school game.

Will Prep Spin be broadcasting this event like last year?

^They are. It's on youtube
