  1. 83-74 Tigers win! A nice way to spend a Saturday afternoon with no snow.
  2. 61-61. Headed to overtime. NCC won the first 8 minutes, Beechwood wind the next 20, NCC won the last 4.
  3. Four minutes left in the game. 57-50 Beechwood. NCC is playing a little better.
  4. End of the 3rd. 54-41 Beechwood.
  5. 5:23 left in the 3rd. Beechwood can out swinging and are up 45-36.
  6. After a pretty exciting second-quarter Beachwood has taken the lead 31-30. They were up 4 with about 10 seconds left and a huge no call on a backcourt violation by the referee led to three-point bucket by NCC.
  7. Five minutes to tip off. Interesting, I look over and I see Coach Meyer, he was the coach at Saint Michael elementary school about 35 years ago when I was playing for Bellevue. The head coach for NCC is Jake Luhn. Kind of odd, usually I recognize a lot of NCC names but I’ve never heard of him before. I think he’s in year two?
  8. Geez, I just looked at my inbox and he and I were messaging back and forth on December 9th 2022. He had shared his diagnosis with me and said he was just "trying to enjoy life."
  9. I would. We've tried this in the past and have had a hard time finding a volunteer to be the commissioner.
  10. What? I didn’t know he passed away. I met him several times. He was a good guy. I’m embarrassed that I didn’t know about this.
  11. 49-47 Beechwood with 1:50 left. A nice Saturday afternoon clash.
  12. No reason to win a game by 85 points. Very sad for both teams. According to KHSAA Pikeville attempted 69 shots and East Ridge 16. That is nuts.
  13. I was impressed with how Ryle played against Lloyd last week. Coach has those boys playing hard.
  14. I know, I was looking at the screenshot of the broadcast a couple of posts to go
  15. Definitely was not a brawl though.
  16. For some reason Lloyd will go 5 or 6 possessions in a row where they attempt a shot before the big guy in the middle even touches the ball. Last night, when he had the ball in his hands, they always got a clean look at the basket. This does not mean Walker shot it every time, but when he has it, the entire defense looks at him, allowing his teammates to spot up or cut to the basket, then if he dishes or passes back out, he is able to adjust his position or get better offensive rebounding position. If I am a Lloyd fan, I do not want anyone even attempting a shot until Walker touches the basketball at least once.
  17. 66-45. I’m out
