Five minutes to tip off. Interesting, I look over and I see Coach Meyer, he was the coach at Saint Michael elementary school about 35 years ago when I was playing for Bellevue. The head coach for NCC is Jake Luhn. Kind of odd, usually I recognize a lot of NCC names but I’ve never heard of him before. I think he’s in year two?

End of 1. 16-10 NCC.

After a pretty exciting second-quarter Beachwood has taken the lead 31-30. They were up 4 with about 10 seconds left and a huge no call on a backcourt violation by the referee led to three-point bucket by NCC.

5:23 left in the 3rd. Beechwood can out swinging and are up 45-36.

End of the 3rd. 54-41 Beechwood.

Four minutes left in the game. 57-50 Beechwood. NCC is playing a little better.

61-61. Headed to overtime. NCC won the first 8 minutes, Beechwood wind the next 20, NCC won the last 4.

68-67 NCC with 45 seconds left

70-70 double overtime

Good game

83-74 Tigers win! A nice way to spend a Saturday afternoon with no snow.

I think 3rd year.  Was an assistant for John Brannen at NKU and UC.

Also was on the staffs at Longwood and St Bonnie's earlier in his career.
